  1. The three extremes film is one of the best horror movies of all time. It's an anthology horror masterpiece. Three extremes film took me on a journey full of disgust, shock, horror, dread, etc.! I was on the edge of my seat for the whole movie! In this review, I'll try my best not to spoil too much because this is a must-watch horror movie! Stories: Three extremes had a strong and gross opening story! Three extremes wasn't afraid to include very dark and violent content that might've crossed boundaries! Three extremes' dialogue was bone-chilling and electrifying! It made the film tenser! In fact, the dialogue is what made the Three extremes film so scary! If you want to read more, check my blog post! Three extremes film review
  2. Definitely the best movie version of "A Christmas Carol." Alastair Sim gives it his all as Ebenezer Scrooge! This is a must watch for the Christmas season! I hope you all enjoyed my review, be sure to leave a like and subscribe for more reviews :3 I'll be reviewing two other film adaptations of "A Christmas Carol" so keep your eyes open for that!
  3. This was such a charming movie to watch at Christmas time! It has a beautiful message that a person's wealth is not measured by the amount of money or things he owns, but by the amount of love they are surrounded by. "It Happened on 5th Avenue" will most likely become a movie I watch every December! It has so many good one-liners and quotes and is overall a heartwarming film which we all need in 2020!
  4. Up next on my Halloween Special is "Carnival of Souls." I truly wasn't expecting it to be so scary! This is a must see for the month of Halloween! Watch until the very end...something bizarre happens! I'm going to continue to put spooky reviews up every night! Please subscribe to my channel on Youtube or give the videos a like! It helps me out a lot! Plus, you'll be notified every time my reviews come out.
  5. This is my favorite version of "Little Women!" It has such a wonderful Christmas feel to it in the beginning. It's a great flick to watch while drinking hot coco and curling up on the couch :3 Merry Christmas, everyone! This is going to be my last Christmas review for the year! I hope you all have a blessed Christmas Eve and Christmas day with your families!
  6. This is a great movie for those who love Civil War flicks. If you sympathize with the South and the Confederates, then this movie is really perfect for you! Overall, it's a decent B movie...it's difficult to compare it with a giant like "Gone with the Wind," but "Drums in the Deep South" is definitely worth watching at least once. Be sure to subscribe to the channel for more reviews! I do at least three a week! A Frightening Friday Flick will be out later today!
  7. This is the best film adaptation of H.G. Wells' novel, "The Island of Dr. Moreau." It is extremely disturbing and fun to watch at Halloween time! Keep your animals close to you during this one, guys! Don't forget to like the vid and subscribe on YouTube for more spooky reviews!
  8. Get out the mashed potatoes and turkey! It's Thanksgiving time! What better classic movie is there to watch than "Plymouth Adventure?" I wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families or wherever you are! I know once I spent this holiday alone in Italy, and it was a bit sad...but we can all give thanks for everything we have! After all, we are all alive and hopefully well! I am thankful to all my viewers this year! You guys are the best!
  9. Tonight's spooky review is one that TopBilled and I both decided to watch and review! "The Red House" is a must watch around Halloween time. If the woods scare you, then this movie will give you goosebumps! I forgot to mention in the review how great the score by Miklos Rozsa is! I also want to mention that not many people have checked out my "Carnival of Souls" review...you don't need to watch the review, but please see that movie! It was so well done and super creepy! Remember to subscribe to my YouTube channel, and you'll always know when my reviews come out! Also, leave comments because I love interacting with my viewers!
  10. I truly enjoyed this costume drama with Vincent Price and Gene Tierney! Let me know if you've seen it or what your thoughts are on it. My review is below. I apologize for the sound quality, I recorded with the wrong mic My next review will be "Portrait of Jennie," which is another romance movie that I enjoyed. My thoughts: I really appreciate anyone that comments or follows me on YouTube! I also love recommendations! ~ Ian Patrick ~
  11. Hello everyone! I'd like to introduce myself to the TCM community. My name is Ian Patrick, and I have always had so much love for films from the 1930s - 1950s. I recently started a YouTube channel where I can share my thoughts, opinions, and knowledge on all future classic movies that I decide to watch. I am 24 years old and looking for people to share my love for old classics with. I'll watch anything from this era and will definitely take recommendations! I have already reviewed several classics. Come check me out if you have any interest! I come out with about 2 reviews every week, and I'm excited to make friends through this little project of mine! This is my YouTube page: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCe75S_tAR0QgpZbctSMMM9g I recently watched the movie, "Dragonwyck," with Vincent Price and Gene Tierney, so that will be my upcoming review! I must say, it was a pretty spooky costume thriller! I didn't expect anything less from the great Vincent Price. I will be posting my future classic movie reviews here in the forum, and please feel free to message me! I would love to hear from you all! ~ Ian Patrick ~
  12. Wow...just wow, guys! This movie completely blew me away! It is definitely one of my favorite movies now. Please watch this movie if you haven't! I'm so happy I saw this at Christmas time...such a special movie, and I'm very thankful that I was able to watch it. It's perfect to watch at Christmas and New Year's. Enjoy the review and be sure to subscribe to me on YouTube for more reviews!
  13. Tonight's Christmas classic is "Scrooge." This version of "A Christmas Carol" came out in 1935...I must say that I was not too fond of it...especially compared to the 1951 version. I go into a lot more detail in the review! Which "A Christmas Carol" movie is your favorite version? It can even be the Muppet version (I actually love this one)! I'd love to discuss it with anyone :3
  14. I'm kicking off my first Christmas special with "The Bishop's Wife." It's a great movie to get us all in the Christmas spirit! My review is a bit long, but this movie has so many interesting stories behind it! Did you think Cary Grant was better suited to play the angel or the bishop? Christmas movies all month! Get out the eggnog :3
  15. One of my "Big 3" supernatural movies that everyone should watch at Halloween time! This movie is one of the best supernatural movies out there. A must watch, guys! Note the Ouija board scene! I want to correct myself in the video...the first appearance of the Ouija board in film history was "Koko" the Clown...not "Koke" the clown haha as I say in the video. Enjoy the review!
  16. This is a film that TopBilled and I decided to review together! I have not seen anything he had to say about the movie yet, but I will after posting this. "Blanche Fury" is a must watch for the Victorian era fans! This is one of those movies where I had a lot to talk about. Enjoy the review and be sure to subscribe on YouTube or leave a comment! I love discussing these movies with you all. This is the entire purpose of me doing these reviews.
  17. Another great Thanksgiving movie that shows how the frontiersmen and Native Americans worked together to make our country great! Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I love you all and welcome everyone who is to new to the channel! Turkey time!
  18. This is truly a horror classic! I'm having a difficult time deciding whether I like this Frankenstein movie or the Universal Frankenstein movie more...both are great in their own ways! Which one do you like more? Enjoy the review, and please comment here or on YouTube! This is such a great movie to talk about!
  19. For this week's Frightening Friday Flick, I chose one with sort of a funny title..."Invisible Ghost." It's only an hour long and perfect for cuddling up on the couch! Be sure to subscribe on Youtube...and please leave comments because I'd love to talk to more people about these great classics!
  20. Finally! I review one of the Roger Corman Edgar Allen Poe movies...I decided to start out with the first of eight that he would do..."House of Usher" or "The Fall of the House of Usher." I was a bit disappointed, but I'm definitely glad I saw it. I think my expectations were a little high! Enjoy the review! Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel, I'm growing, and it's awesome talking to my viewers!
  21. Every so often, I find a movie that really inspires me to continue watching classics; Portrait of Jennie is definitely one of those! It definitely has all that movie magic that we all love here on this website. My review on it is below, please subscribe to me on YouTube if you're enjoying these! I know that our opinions will not always be the same, but I see my YouTube channel as a personal diary. No one is every truly "right" about judging how good a movie is, but it is nice to have discussions on them! The review: Thanks for all the feedback! ~ Ian Patrick ~
  22. Back from a short break! Here is my review of "The Black Castle," with Boris Karloff and Richard Greene. It wasn't exactly scary, but it was a good period horror film! Halloween is coming up everyone, so try to fit in as many scary movies as you can! Be sure to give a like to the video or follow my channel on YouTube if you like the reviews!
  23. I recently watched this classic noir film. I know it usually has high reviews, but I considered it to be pretty average. My Review on YouTube: Post your thoughts here or in the comments sections on YouTube! ~ Ian Patrick ~
  24. To continue our month of nightmares, I have reviewed "The Bat." I'm always excited to see Vincent Price in movies. I still need to watch his Edgar Allen Poe flicks! This review is a bit of a short one. The movie turned into more of a whodunit movie than a horror Remember to subscribe to my channel on YouTube and give a like to the video, it helps out a bunch!
  25. I'm soo excited to join the Horror forum here on the TCM website. This is my very first horror classic review. I'm not an expert on this genre, but I hope there are people here that can teach me a lot about the background on some of these scary movies! My reviews are designed for the casual scary movie watcher and are really just for fun! I know I enjoyed making this vid! If you liked this video, please subscribe to me on my YouTube channel! A horror review will come out once a week along with plenty of other classics!
