It seems only a few months ago that the American public was not too concerned about the coronavirus in general. But the serious situation in the United States today makes us wonder how we got to this point, and what should have been done in the prior months to prevent this catastrophe. A look back might refresh our memories.
Not since the AIDS epidemic have we started to see artists and other notables in various professions die from one particular disease. And like AIDS at that time, there isn't a great deal known about it. Yet doctors and research scientists are still working hard to find drugs to treat it and a vaccine to prevent it. Hopefully it will not take as many from us as the horrible AIDS epidemic.
America is at the beginning of a viral pandemic that is threatening all 50 states, which have all been declared disaster areas at the same time, for the first time. In the middle of all this with thousands of Americans dying every day, the president of the United States wants to fire one of the world's top experts on epidemiology, who the United States is lucky to have here in America, Dr Anthony Stephan Fauci. Dr Fauci has angered the president because he tells the truth. He tells the truth on television. He tells the truth in White House meetings. And he tells the truth in public in front of trump before the media. This is too much for a habitual liar, like trump. According to trump, America's number one Authority on the Coronavirus has to go.
