Hello, After several successful years using the Watch TCM app on my Roku device, it recently started crashing unexpectedly. I recently switched cable providers and I believe that this may be the cause of the issue. After cancelling my cable service with one provider, I was automatically signed out of the Watch TCM app. Now, when I try to sign into the app again with the credentials provided by my new cable provider the app crashes when I click the "sign in" link. I'm not allowed to enter new credentials at all. It simply sends me back to the Roku main menu. I have read several online forums and this appears to be a common issue. I'm not an expert in this area but I am quite adept and familiar with the concepts of streaming and streaming devices. That being said, I believe that the issue stems from the initial activation of this specific device. I believe that at that time the identifying information specific to this device was linked to the sign in credentials provided by my previous cable provider. I believe that a solution to this issue would be to develop a means that would allow users to "manage devices" or add and remove devices associated with specific Watch TCM accounts. Any information regarding this issue would be very much appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.
We have been trying to play "Date with the Falcon" on TCM for several days. Each time, we get an error message that the requested movie cannot be played and to restart the Roku device, which we did. All the other TCM movies, including the other Falcon movies play with no problem. Has anyone else seen this error message? Any suggestions?
I am in the LA area watching on Sling on a Roku Ultra device. Was flipping by TCM tonight and got this message "This program is unavailable on sling tv" i have never seen this for TCM before. We just switched back to Sling TV a week or so ago from Direct TV Now because of all the outages and buffering. A look at the schedule and it shows Return to 'Giant' (2003) was airing. I know i saw Giant on tonight before this show was blacked out. Why would this happen?
