So TCM finally updated their website... thing is, so far it is LESS informative! I used to search for my favorite actors and upcoming scheduled films would appear, which was GREAT! If that didn't work, say if the actor was lower down the credit-totem-pole, I could browse the upcoming schedules, sorting by SHORTS, etc (which was extremely useful as well). Am I correct in saying we can no longer search for upcoming films from our favorite actors? :-( JD

I'm sure there are several films that are hard to find on TV, streaming, renting, and even purchasing. For me, I'm working on finding a couple of Fred Astaire films that are impossible to find. Even physical copies are not compatible to US. You Were Never Lovelier Let's Dance I hope TCM will have these films on TV. What else should they add? Anyone know of other sources to watch hard to find films?

Does TCM offer a feature where you can get the coming week's movie schedule in an email sent to you each week? If yes, where and how? Thanks for any help.

Howdy. I am marking my calendar for films I am most excited for during "31 Days of Oscar", one of which is "Sons and Lovers" (1960). However, I noticed a discrepancy between the ""31 Days of Oscar" schedule and the weekly schedule , that leaves me questioning the airtime of "Sons and Lovers". On "31 Days of Oscar" schedule:"Sons and Lovers" is set to show on Tues, Feb 18 at 9:45 pm ET between "Brief Encounter" and "Pygmalion". But on the weekly schedule: "Sons and Lovers" is curiously missing on Feb 18 (and every other day), even though "Brief Encounter" and "Pygmalion" appear at

I seldom post on TCM. com, but I do visit TCM.com to shop and buy movies. Buying seems to be the only alternative for good cinema. I don’t watch TCM much anymore, maybe once a month, because the classics are gone. And, classics are what I thought TCM was known for. My on-demand provides the same 3 or 4 movies for viewing that stay listed for a month. I should say that it just isn’t TCM that has changed, it’s TV in general. I understand now why viewers have turned to Neflix, Hulu, and the like. Entertainment from the big box is disappearing.

What happened to the old process that used to be available on the movie listing, where we could request or recommend the movie be added to the line-up or schedule? Also, the web development techs was supposed to add a notification feature for those VERY infrequent broadcasts of movies. One of those pop-up things that we can fill out so that we get an email whenever the movie finally makes it on to the schedule? We used to be able to ask for movies and could enter a short pitch to the community why, but i can seem to find it anymore.

Hi, this is my first post and i hope that i've placed this query in the right section so that i can get some clarification. I'm a huge fan of TCM and in addition to watching the live channel i regularly peruse through the TCM On Demand schedule of movies that are held over for repeat viewing for about 5 or so days after appearing on the network. Usually this is anywhere from 10-15 movies with regular turnover as older hold-overs expire and are replaced by more recently aired ones. Unfortunately, for the past week and a half, no new movies have been added at all as the previous ones expired

Here's a space for us to post our dream SUTS schedules. Which lineup of actors would constitute a perfect month for you, that would keep you smiling once it ended? Would you like to see a month full of character actors, or underrated performers? You don't have to post the entire month if you don't want to sharing a few choices is perfectly fine. Feel free to also share why you've picked who you've picked. I can't wait to see what you all come up with!
