Susan Kohner was certainly stunning In Imitation of Life, she also delivered an Oscar worthy performance.Barrie Chase was very good and SEXY in the original Cape Fear,to bad she didn't more opportunities to show what she could do.But Hollywood is famous for not knowning how to use women,in more ways than one.

I'm assuming your email reply was to my post citing Halle Berry and

if I'm wrong I apologize.

But, if you did mean to reply to my reference to Halle Berry, you

cited a bet regarding Halle's hair length.

I hate to tell you this, but it's the truth; I'll take Halle with no hair,

baby hair, curly hair, straight hair, red hair, green hair, shoulder-length

hair, single hair, mohair, you-name-the-hair!

I hope you win the bet and have a good one!

I always try to use pre-existing threads to offer comments on a particular subject, instead of creating a new one. This thread is three years old.

Finding old threads that have dropped off the radar, on a particular subject can be a problem, particularly if the thread has a cryptic 'subject' heading.

Regards

I'm not cryptic, I'm enigmatic and mysterious (sometimes described as "full-of-s**t").

Don't apologise. I was agreeing with you about the proliferation of threads on the same subject.

I'm sorry if I made you cry.

Regards.

I began this thread a few years ago in tribute to your favorite beautiful people of the silver screen.

Rather than a string of individual 'beauty' threads, this subject was all balled up into one, which made it interesting to compare our taste in beautiful stars.

It's nice to know that the thread is still around.

Sorry, mongo! Had no idea, seeing that I don't go back that far! Funny, I, of all people, should have noticed it! Maybe I did! I'll have to go back and read. Nice to know this is an original thread! I am so tired of all of the beauty threads. One or, maybe two, is quite enough! But, some people and their "competitive" natures. Anyway, I will do you the honor of removing my crack at the bottom of my first entry. It was directed at someone else anyway. So, you used to be bansi4? Is it often players change their name around here? I guess I better keep an eye out!

No problem, GarboManiac. My screen name was originally Mongo, then changed to bansi4 (in error) when TCM revised their boards. Then back to Mongo when they overhauled their boards once again.

I believe there may be a few members who have changed screen names.
