By the way - one of the Brando photos he's sitting with his sister Jocelyn Brando on the set of "The Ugly American". They do have striking resemblence, don't they?

Who is in the photo with Brando and James Dean...there are two other women - one looks like Carolyn Jones, but I'm not sure - does anyone know?

Yes, both look alike. On that photo you mentioned, this is what the page says:

"Rare photo of Brando and Movita at party with Dean. Photographer told me Brando was pointing at him to stop taking pictures. Photographers name was Jess Rand."

I found this quote funny. Check out the pic and click on the writing to read it properly.

Hi Metsfan!!! Thanks again for the Brando photos and your messages explaining who everyone is in the photos.

I looked at the link you posted - that was Brando learning some dance moves for "Guys and Dolls".

I think the his broken nose did make him less perfect and people actually associated him with the familiar voice and nose. Do you think that he should

have fixed his broken nose and did it help his career by making him look more unique?

Hi Metsfan,

The Marlon Brando-James Dean photo has Brando with his arm around Movita (at least it looks like her) and the other woman may be Maria Gurdin, Natalie Woods mother.

Dean was romancing Wood about that time.

This is just a guess on my part as this was more than 50 years ago.

Nice pictures of Brando - I liked his broken nose - it gave him character.

I would love to see the famous photo with Brando, James Dean, Julie Harris on the set of East of Eden where Brando pretends to scratch his nose with his middle finger but is actually "flipping the bird". Brando was certainly a "character" for sure.

Oh Movielover you naughty girl!!! I looked at the photo and agree - mighty short skirt on Brando - too bad nothing shows.

I was also looking at the photo of Brando tenderly kissing Grace Kelley at the Oscar awards ceremony - I guess it's from 1955 when they both won for Best Actress and Best Actor - and from reading some of the posts, I was wondering if these two dropped their Oscars and went to bed after that photo was taken. They look mighty happy together.

Metsfan---you brought me lots and lots and LOTS of smiles with these!!

I love the one with Bob Montgomery, Bill Powell and Joan---that's from THE LAST OF MRS. CHEYNEY. And the one of Cary, where he's got one knee up---that picture hangs over my desk! lol!

Great images of brooding Boyer, too! And darling Spence....sigh. Many thanks.

[nobr]I could never go back through this thread to see what all has been posted here, but just wanted to add something to it none the less. I apologize for any repeats that show up here, these are some of my favorite photos of Bob Montgomery... Who I think was one of the sexiest celebs to ever walk the earth. I shrunk these, by the way. The originals are incredible...[/nobr]
