sandykaypax
Yikes, what a hideous photo of Sheila James! She looks like the kind of girl who would've tried to steal your lunch money! What films was she in before becoming entering politics? Speaking of child stars, I share a birthday with Brandon Cruz, who played Eddie on The Courtship of Eddie's Father tv series and the Dionne Quintuplets. I don't that any other actors share my birthday, but I do share it with singers Gladys Knight and Steve Winwood. Sorry, I haven't figured out how to post photos! jdb1
Sheila James was in "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers," and some things called "Those Redheads from Seattle," and "Teenage Rebel." I remember her best as the daughter on "The Stu Erwin Show." As a matter of fact, she's the only thing I remember from that ancient program. She wore her hair in two thick, dark braids. pintorini
Yeah, Teenage Rebel was basically a dud, but I watched it for Ginger Rogers. Part of the reason it was a dud was the various child actors. James was arguably the best of lot, as I remember. But I am hard to please; I so rarely enjoy watching child actors. Ronnie Howard being a shining exception. Now, Ronnie could ACT, even as a very wee lad.

Guest
I humbly stand in awe of the veritable sea of knowledge that all of you that have posted to this thread possess. I'm a big fan of classic films because they were the films my parents watched and it somehow makes me feel closer to them now that they're gone. Thanx to all of you, whomever you are, for all of the info you've provided. It certainly adds an entirely new dimension to my enjoyment of all the films shown on TCM. It's virtually the only channel I watch. What else could compare? Thanx again to everyone!
Guest
Where does a person go to see all the photographs of all these fine character actore? I'm particularly interested in Walter Brennan and William Demarest. Any help anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanx in advance to any and all who respond! movieman1957
The best way it to look through this thread. You can do a search in this forum and look through for the pictures of particular people. The best way I've found is to go to "Google" home page and at the top of the box there is a heading for images. Click on that and then type in who you are looking for. jdb1
Another source I use is online Hollywood autograph dealers. Most movie stars' autographs are on publicity photos. But, as Chris says, the easiest way is to use Goolge, Yahoo, etc.in "Images." The selection of images changes from day to day, so you never know what gold you may mine there. And it's lots of fun. metsfan
Aldolphe Menjou was most likely mentioned here, but here's his pic. Thanks for adding Paul Douglas, I loved his performance in "Fourteen Hours".
