Trying to remember name of movie

Recommended Posts

Does anyone remember a film from the 50/60's in which aliens in human form have a type of slit in their neck through which they breathe? I remember the air in the movie to be filled at a point with what looked like floating bits of feather. Ring any bells for anyone? It's killing me. Thanks

This may be the Outer Limits episode "Keeper of the Purple Twilight" (aired Dec 5, 1964). The aliens had big bald bulbous heads with big pointy ears and several gill slits for a mouth. I vaguely remember something about feathers.

Outer Limits 1964 : "The Special One"

The government special educator (alien) has some kind of device, can't recall what it looked like, that recreates the atmosphere of his home world. I always think of it like being inside one of those 'snowballs' that you shake for effect. In the episode, it looks like the alien is in a room full of goose down feathers spining in a slow vortex around him. Like being in the middle of a good pillow fight.

Yeah... that's the ticket

The original Outer Limits series is my all time favorite thing of all things. Anywhere.

I'm always in awe of the range of imagination and writing.
