I was raised without spankings, so I don't really think they're necessary if you know how to Be an Effective parent.

Kids that have to have parameters, discipline, and some kind of punishment when they knowingly break rules--

But Whipping is only going to work up to a certain point, as people like Bing Crosby found out--

kids have a way of growing up and getting taller and bigger than their parents from the previous generation  pretty fast.

Violence only begets more violence.

That's a BS statement.

Should had attended my schools whom enforced discipline! Never had violence / school shootings.

Spanking should be a last resort when all else fails.

In my day when parents tells a child to jump, they didn't reply "how high?"

I HATE this commercial, smart mouth kid!

Proverbs 13:24: “Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him”.

So, it appears YOUR answer to my earlier question would be that, yes, because Jesus was well-versed in his Hebrew Bible, he would have spanked the hell (literally) out of his kids' bottoms IF he had had any of 'em, eh?!

(...sorry ham, but I still doubt that he would've)  ;)

We had no violence or school shootings at my schools either. The parents disciplined their kids at home and they knew how to act.

But you also have to realize that the society in general was more civilized then.

And that most of our leaders, particularly the president, had a certain amount of decorum and respect for others in public.

We've gotten away from that and that's another reason why young people act the way they do.

It's wrong to think that children should be more polite or kind than their elders.

The last president that we had, trump--

oh, the children have had a bad example of how to act with that hateful man sprouting filth 24/7 on Twitter.

With Biden as President and as a mentor and role model for young people in America, we will see some improvement--

not just in how children view themselves--

but also hopefully in a reduction in all these hate crimes.

Saaay, I wonder if Fat Boy Donny had had a paddle applied to HIS bottom occasionally, if he might've acted a little more civil these past four-plus years???

I'm talkin' about DURING these past four-plus years here and NOT when he was a kid and when his butt was a little less fat.

(...heck, I'D have volunteered for THAT duty, and even though as you folks have noticed, I've been talkin' against the concept of Corporal Punishment since ham brought this whole thing up!!!)

His niece Mary said that trump is just like his daddy Fred.

All children have a choice, to go opposite their parents or to be just like their parents.

Mary said that her Father Fred Junior was driven to an early grave because he wanted to go opposite Fred Trump senior.

So, dad had to put all of his hopes on donald trump--

And backed up all of his failures with money.

But there's no amount of money that's going to back up or make up for all these hundreds of thousands of Americans who are dying because trump wanted to be like his father Fred.

So, in essence, Donny was probably the classic spoiled little rich boy who never had a paddle applied to HIS butt then, RIGHT?! His daddy being MUCH too busy screwing over everyone in his adult business world to grab that paddle and do a number on Donny's butt.

(...well then, maybe ham has been right ALL ALONG here then, EH?!)  ;)

It's possible there is no source for that particular quotation. May be a paraphrase of a number of other

similar but not exact quotes. That happens fairly often--a fake quote is just a more pithy version of the

actual original. Play it again, Sam.

All of these quotes from The Bible are from the King James Version I assume or an updated version of it.   Prepared at the direction of an English king who wanted to insure his reign and the way of life he thought best.  No politics there.☺️

The Definitive Case Proving Donald Trump Won the Election

Revolver News

November 27, 2020

If Joe Biden taking the lead in Michigan and Wisconsin was the moment the dynamic of the Presidential race changed, this may be the moment the dynamic changes again.

A thorough and damning new analysis just published calls the legitimacy of this critical period into question and shows just how completely ridiculous and far-fetched the core of Joe Biden’s comeback really was in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia. It flags four individual vote dumps critical to Joe Biden’s “victory” in these states and shows, convincingly, that their ratios of Biden votes to Trump votes were profoundly anomalous when compared to other dumps in those states and virtually every other vote dump across the country.

The report is written in dry and academic language, filled with graphs, footnotes, and various hedges, but its implications could not be more obvious. Indeed, if the authors were less tepid, they might have fairly titled it:

Joe Biden’s Victory Was Not Legitimate. And Now We Can Prove it.

Because that’s exactly what the report does.  It looks at election data and shows what many would expect: the states and cities that had the most suspicious circumstances on election night and into the next day are precisely where the analysis flags extreme anomalies.

Summary and Background of the Report

It starts out with the background on Michigan and Wisconsin — the famous “vote spikes” that were plainly ridiculous and fundamentally changed both the electoral reality and the narrative. The report reminds us of the infamous vote spikes in Michigan and Wisconsin.

Michigan

2020.11.25-03.36-revolvernews-5fbe7a08d4

Wisconsin:

2020.11.25-03.38-revolvernews-5fbe7a66d2

The report is based on an analysis of the difference between successive updates in each state, each of which it calls “vote updates.”  In online discourse, these are often referred to as “vote dumps” or “vote batches.”

A Historic Presidency

In the first two decades of the century, President-elect Joe Biden's choice for secretary of state supported U.S. wars in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, and Yemen. He was an ever-reliable liberal interventionist. This same Antony Blinken could spend the first years of a Biden presidency helping extricate our country from the misbegotten wars he championed. What establishment Democrats like Biden and Blinken helped to do in previous administrations, they will likely now have to undo.

Who effected this sea change in national thinking? Donald Trump. Much that was said and believed before he came down the escalator in 2015 is no longer said or believed by the majority of Americans. And no institution has been more altered than the Republican Party.

George H. W. Bush's vision of a "New World Order," launched at the after-party of his Gulf War victory, died with his presidency. George W. Bush's crusade for global democracy to "end tyranny in our world" has been forgotten. Bush Republicans no longer speak for the party on foreign policy, trade, or immigration.

NATO will never be the same again after Trump rudely demanded that freeloading nations pay their fair share of the collective defense or the Americans would pack up and come home from Europe. Former Defense Secretary Gen. James Mattis may call for the ash-canning of the phrase "America First." He will fail. For, as both national motto and national policy, the slogan has put down roots in American soil because it comports with the will of the silent majority.

Whatever the establishment believes, in the clash between nationalism and globalism, globalism has lost America. Moreover, the world is going this way.

Does not Xi Jinping put his own country first as he claims for China all the waters and islands for hundreds of miles into the East and South China seas? Does not Vladimir Putin put his own country first as he seeks to bring back under Moscow's wing the former republics of the Russian federation? Does not President Erdogan put Turkey first as he sends arms and troops to pursue his country's interests in Libya, Syria, Cyprus, the South Caucasus, and the Eastern Mediterranean in clashes with Greece?

What does Bibi Netanyahu put first, if not his own country, Israel?

If country and nation are not first in the hearts and minds of Americans, what should replace them? Some nonexistent New World Order? The U.N.? NATO? A multilateral caucus of global institutions?

Under Trump, economic nationalism has displaced free trade globalism as the trade policy of the party and government. The GOP elite that backed Bill Clinton on NAFTA, supported a new transnational World Trade Organization, invited China to join the club, and accorded Beijing most-favored-nation trade status is now silent. Tariffs to force open foreign markets and punish predator-traders who take advantage of American workers have replaced the free trade fundamentalism that had been dogma since Dwight Eisenhower's days.

Nor is the Republican Party likely to return to free trade, as long as "China First" is the undeclared policy pursued by the nation that has now displaced us as the world's leading manufacturing power.

The George Bush-John McCain Republican Party was for amnesty for illegals and open borders for new migrants. Today's GOP supports the deportation of illegals and the 30-foot Trump Wall on the Mexican border.

Not only is Trumpism triumphant in the GOP's ideological battles, but its victory was validated in 2020. While Trump may have narrowly lost states that gave him an electoral majority in 2016, he grew the GOP presidential vote by 10 million, held the Senate and added GOP votes in the House, an almost unprecedented feat for a defeated President.

Trump did not establish the new relationship with Russia he had promised, nor did he end the forever wars of the Middle East. Yet, the U.S. is closer today to the exit ramps from Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen.

Can anyone believe that Bush Republicans or the "Never-Trumpers" are the future of the party when one considers the massive and visceral reaction of millions of Trump voters even to the idea of conceding his defeat in this election? After the dust has settled from this election, Trump's achievements will begin to be recognized.

He cut tax rates and federal regulations and produced in his fourth year the lowest unemployment rate ever among black Americans, women, and racial and ethnic minorities. He remade the Supreme Court, producing a 6-3 constitutionalist majority no predecessor was able to achieve.

He crushed ISIS in Syria and eliminated the caliphate there. He pulled us out of the Paris climate accord, the Iranian nuclear deal, and the World Health Organization. His Operation Warp Speed initiative helped produce two vaccines for the worst pandemic in a century within less than a year. And he brought the Dow back up to 30,000.

A not unimpressive record, though our media elite will never concede it.

The Permanent War Party
Two of the most powerful people on Earth could emerge from a shadowy consultancy firm called WestExec Advisors.
By Christopher Gage

November 26, 2020

Over the summer, Joe Biden’s presidential campaign offered little more than a political Rorschach test. The defining conclusion: Joe Biden was not Donald Trump.

The campaign talked ceaselessly of “character,” of a battle for America’s soul. A vote for Biden, a vote to restore the White House to an office of decency and decorum. Democrats countered pallid enthusiasm for Biden in primitive detail: a return to “normalcy.”

President Trump’s history of tattooing ruinous monikers to the foreheads of foes ran out of ink. “Sleepy” Joe offered 80 million Americans what they desired most: the end of the tumultuous Trump Show, and a somnambulant Biden presidency.

Americans played political Netflix, unbundling the full package of a Democratic blue wave by withering the Democratic House majority and damning Democrats in the Senate.

For 80 million Americans—a figure gerrymandered by Democratic mail-in larceny—the rage-addicted media’s four-year doom-loop had its desired effect. Throughout his first term, President Trump, despite manifest and unreported successes, seldom broke above 50 percent approval.

On January 20, half of Americans are set to receive their first installment of “normalcy.” At his inauguration, a President Biden will talk of bringing the nation together, of restoring the American Dream. The alphabet media will swoon in the confirmation of its diluted yet still potent power to counterfeit the future.

Biden Vows “Pathway to Citizenship” for 11 Million Illegals in First 100 Days
by Luis Miguel November 26, 2020

Can America survive “Amnesty Joe?”

Joe Biden is vowing to forge “a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people in America.”

In an interview with NBC News’ Lester Holt, Biden said he would push for an immigration bill at the start of his presidency (which he and the mainstream media are treating as a given despite an ongoing legal battle that still shows hope for President Trump), though he expects it to be an uphill fight, owing to Republicans’ control of the Senate.

Democrats Want Unity Only on Their Terms
BY DAVID LIMBAUGH NOV 27, 2020 12:01 AM ET

Many Trump haters have been lying all along about President Donald Trump, what he stands for, what his record has been and who his supporters are. Now they tell us they want unity.

What Trump wants — and want his supporters want — is for America to reclaim its greatness, its robust liberty tradition, its prosperity, the integrity of its borders, fair trade deals with foreign nations and its military strength. He has made great strides in achieving these goals.

Trump’s opponents — the media, Democrats, never-Trump Republicans — have never given him a moment’s rest, never a benefit of the doubt, never an atom of cooperation or bipartisanship. They haven’t just served as the loyal opposition, resisting his agenda like the minority party is expected to do. They have never let him govern. From the time he stepped on the political stage, they’ve harassed, investigated, bullied, impeached and censored him.

The media has tormented Trump, ignored and distorted his accomplishments, and shown him in a 100% negative light for his entire term. Never in my lifetime have I seen such one-sided coverage.

They have deliberately misrepresented his words to paint him as a bigot. They have claimed his immigration policies are driven by racism, rather than a desire to protect our borders and ensure the orderly process of legal immigration. They have relentlessly hammered this into the national psyche to where millions upon millions of Americans not only believe it but also believe racism animates all Trump supporters. Just remember there was a time in the recent past when both parties agreed that we must control our borders and prosecute illegal immigration.

Most of the charges against Trump are over-the-top outrageous. Joe Biden, whom the media characterize as a nice, harmless fellow, has portrayed Trump as a racist and has said Trump is responsible for the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Americans from COVID-19. Anyone with a smidgeon of intellectual integrity knows this is patently absurd. Trump put his all into fighting this virus, and for partisan opportunists to blame him for its death and destruction is indescribably vicious. But in our society, in which hating Trump has become a popular blood sport, no libel is too low.
