Re one of good ol' boy Jake's little cut and paste offerings up there. The one where it shows little Rand Paul's spouting the following:

"They will destroy the Republican Party if the leadership is complicit with an impeachment or if leadership votes for an impeachment."

Eeeh, don't you worry about THIS here Jake, you good ol' backwater boy, you!

Nope, and because as I type this out here, I'm SURE much of the leadership of the Republican party is now sitting cowardly in many a back room throughout this country and attempting to devise WHOLE NEW WAYS to keep the participation in our elections as low as possible.

And because of course, THAT right THERE you good ol' backwater southern boy you,  the FACT that MORE people FINALLY got off THEIR fat apathetic butts in this country and actually voted, and NOT some damn stupid and FALSE idea that your fat boy Donny was "robbed", WAS the PRIMARY reason that your fat boy was legitimately DEFEATED in this past election.

And so CHEER UP here Jake, you good ol' backwater southern boy you, and because I'll BET your damn Republican leadership WILL somehow come up with new ways to keep the larger MAJORITY of this country's electorate's voices from being heard in the future, and with their thoughts and rationale being that even still having only TWO out of every THREE legitimate voters casting a ballot in this past election is STILL way too many people being involved in our electoral process.

(...uh-huh, CHEER UP, you good ol' backwater southern boy you, as who KNOWS?...maybe they'll come up with something very similar to how for so many years you good ol' backwater southern boys down there were able to keep black folks from voting)

This will be over in the next couple of days.  Lets see how the next 4 goes.  Biden knows he'll have to tread lightly if the democrats wants a bright future after 2024.

Message to conservatives, it's a bit too soon to jump out of 80 story windows in a panic.

Yes, true, but PLEASE conservatives out  there, STILL consider jumping out of a SECOND story window, as doing something like this having much more survivable consequences, just MIGHT at long last knock some SENSE into some of those damn hard heads of yours!

Biden’s COVID-19 ‘Rescue’ Plan Is Based On 5 Big Lies

Issues & Insights

January 19, 2021

Joe Biden went on prime time this week to promote his COVID-19 plans. For a guy who promises to be honest with the public, he’s off to a terrible start. Since mainstream media fact-checkers are now on their four-year vacation, we’ll set the record straight on several key claims he made.

1) “You will see it very clearly if you examine what the twin crises of pandemic and this sinking economy have laid bare.”

Sinking economy? Where has Biden been for the past six months? As the Bureau of Economic Analysis has already reported, the economy grew at a stunning 33.4% in the third quarter of this year – well above anyone’s expectations. The Atlanta Fed’s GDPNow pegs growth in the fourth quarter at a very strong 7.4%. (The last time GDP grew that much in a quarter was during the Reagan boom.) Unemployment, which was supposed to be close to 10% now, according to mainstream economists, is down to 6.7%. What’s more, as of November, 17 states had unemployment levels at 5% or lower. That’s not to say we are out of the woods, but the idea that the economy is “sinking” is a figment of Biden’s imagination. Either that, or he’s purposely misleading the country to justify another $1.9 trillion in stimulus spending.

Over the weekend, a Biden aid claimed the economy was “spiraling downward.”

2) “Moody’s, an independent Wall Street firm, said my approach will create more than 18 million good-paying jobs.”It is true that Moody’s economist Mark Zandi claimed in a report that Biden’s economic plan would create millions of jobs. But as we noted in this space earlier, Zandi is a partisan with a poor track record.

It was the same Mark Zandi who predicted that if Trump won the election in 2016, he’d cause “a lot of lost jobs, higher unemployment, higher interest rates, lower stock prices.”

Zandi predicted that in Trump’s first term the unemployment rate would be 5.7% in 2019, and climb from there. Actual result: Unemployment was 3.5% at the end of 2019, and falling.

He said there’d be 146 million jobs in 2019. Actual result: 152 million.

Zandi said the economy would eke out just 2.8% real GDP growth from 2016 through 2019. Actual number: 7.7%.

Referring to this figure without providing context is highly misleading.

3) “ But, the vaccine rollout in the United States has been a dismal failure thus far.”

This is another Big Biden Lie that we exposed on these pages a while ago. Currently, the U.S. leads the world in the number of vaccinations administered and the number who’ve been fully vaccinated, and ranks behind only the United Kingdom among western nations on a per capita basis. What’s more, daily vaccination rates continue to skyrocket in the U.S., topping 747,000 on the day Biden made his speech.

So why is Biden claiming the rollout has been a dismal failure? One reason is to bash President Donald Trump, but the bigger reason is to justify a massive new spending program to “fix” the problem.

Democrats Cling Desperately to Trump Hatred

These are among the darkest days of American democracy. With nearly airtight totalitarian uniformity, the American media robotically repeat that there is no possible argument to be made that the 2020 presidential election produced an unjust result. In the same magical spirit of post-electoral unanimity, President Trump has been condemned for his remarks to hundreds of thousands of his supporters in Washington on January 6, and it is now a political commandment that he is responsible for the ensuing illegal forced entry and fatal violence at the United States Capitol.

There are NO conservatives left in the Republican Party or at least not many.  They have been replaced by the  Radical Right Extremist Reactionaries and their enablers.  Call 'em what they are.

Not only are they trying to engage in more voter suppression and gerrymandering, more than a few are preparing for something else.

How do they separate themselves from Trump and all his bad baggage?  Of course, they will wait a decent interval, but primaries are in one year or so.  So, they have to find a way to divorce themselves from Trump while not **** off his devout followers to such a degree to cause them to lose primaries.

After all, major sources of campaign funding are already publicly abandoning those who supported Trump in the Impeachment.  How many more are going to do it as well, but not publicly?

By the way, do we know that much about Jakieboy?  All I have seen, back when I actually read his posts, was once when he spoke of spending time in a gated community on the Gulf Coast of MS.  Resident, guest or groundskeeper?

Yeah, ya know Cid, I think I also remember our good ol' backwater southern boy once breaking with his usual M.O. of copying and pasting off the internet, and a few years back posting a picture of himself in a little boat while fishing on some lake or backwater bayou down there.

In fact and surprisingly, I even think I recalled him actually posting some of his own WORDS above or below that picture when he posted it.

(...but don't quote me on this as this WAS quite a few years back ya know, and so I couldn't swear to that...the last part about him posting his "own words" that is)

LOL

Who's the dope that writes this stuff? The last time GDP grew that much was just in the third quarter of this

year--33.4%, not during the Reagan boom. It's right in front of you, numbnutz.

He is referring to the economy of people who do not have jobs or are not able to work full-time at their jobs and businesses going under.  The economy is more than just Wall St., the GDP, etc.  It's people.

I have no argument with that. I'm just pointing out that the third quarter GDP growth is far above anything

in Reagan's time and the writer had it right in front of them. Of course the main reason for that high growth

was  the plunge in the second quarter's GDP, down 32.9%.
