So what happens at the Democratic convention if Hillary is criminally indicted?  Does he soldier on until she is actually found guilty and sentenced?

Hillary is not yet the nominee. She failed to get enough pledge delegates to become it. So, in order to become the nominee, she will need the super-delegates to add their votes to what she's got.

The super-delegates don't vote until the Convention.

Will they vote for her if they realize her indictment makes it unlikely she'll win the election?

Polls already tell us that Sanders does better against Trump than she does, so in the event of an indictment ......?

I'm sure.

The only question I have is why?

I suggested the other day that Bill might be sabotaging his wife's chances because he really doesn't want her to become President.

But, others are suggesting that he's trying to get Lynch into a position where she'll have to recuse herself. This would buy the time needed for Hillary to gain the Presidency before any indictments can actually happen.

Once she's in, bring the indictments on. The Clintons'll have a good laugh about it from inside the White House.

Just heard on CBS news...

FBI Recommends No Indictment For Hillary Clinton Over Private Email Servers.

They also said she was extremely careless in handling of  emails and hostile "actors" could had hack the email server system but no INTENT of misconduct on Hillary's part was indicated.

Link just popped up on Google....

They are in different Parties - so no, that's not what I'm saying.

Hillary will probably get the nomination now that the FBI has failed to recommend indictment.

But the comments made about her recklessness by James Comey makes her election tougher. If the Democratic Party really wanted to be sure to retain the White House it would nominate Sanders.

However, the Democratic Party belongs to Corporate interests - so it'll probably gamble on Clinton. They'll thank their lucky stars that they'll probably be bailed out by having Trump as the opponent.

Knowing you're above the law - above the rules - would make most people arrogant, I think.

The Clintons must belong to Satan - if Satan really exists. They are invulnerable.

Organizers Are Ready for 1 Million Protestors at DNC

Philadelphia is planning for about 200,000 protestors at the Democrat National Convention later this month but organizers are estimating the number of protestors at closer to 1 million.

“It’s becoming more and more realistic as the days go on,” said the chief organizer, Billy Taylor, 31, who holds permits for three-quarters of the permitted protesters.

FBI Rewrites Federal Law to Let Hillary Off the Hook

In essence, in order to give Mrs. Clinton a pass, the FBI rewrote the statute, inserting an intent element that Congress did not require. The added intent element, moreover, makes no sense: The point of having a statute that criminalizes gross negligence is to underscore that government officials have a special obligation to safeguard national defense secrets; when they fail to carry out that obligation due to gross negligence, they are guilty of serious wrongdoing. The lack of intent to harm our country is irrelevant

FBI correctly determines, under exisitng laws, that Clinton did nothing criminally wrong.  Thank God and the Founding Fathers and the Constitution that the bar for "criminal" or even "civil" wrongdoing was placed where it is.  Thank God that poor judgement or an error in judgement is not a crime or we would all be in jail.

Rep. Trey Gowdy discovered this and found himself in what is actually an embarassing situation with Benghazi investigation number eight.

Stand to be corrected, but if we remove the superdelgates that Clinton has, we need to remove them from the total needed to win as well, to include Sanders' SD's and any non-committed.

Apparently without superdelegates at all, this leaves 4048 delegates and half of that is 2024.

Clinton has 2220 pledged without SD's.

So, she wins!

Well we don't really have any great choices now do we?  Would you rather have that egotistical, narcissistic, "anything for a buck", jackass Trump in the White House?

WikiLeaks Releases Over 1,200 Clinton Emails on Iraq War--

"WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange said last month that the new release contains "very strong material" that could be used to prosecute the former secretary of state, though he acknowledged that would be unlikely under the current administration.

"[Attorney General] Loretta Lynch...is not going to indict Hillary Clinton," he told ITV. "It's not possible that could happen, but the FBI could push for concessions from [a] new Clinton government in exchange for its lack of indictment."....

"Late last month, the anonymous hacker Guccifer 2.0 released a trove of internal Democratic National Committee files which, among other things, exposed the behind-the-scenes maneuvers to boost Clinton's candidacy, underscoring the critique of her being the establishment party favorite."

Yes.

He's a ridiculous a-hole, but less evil. He'll have a much tougher time getting anything he wants to do done with so few allies in government. Then again, I'm pretty sure he's never really intended to win the Presidency and will make himself unelectable with one proclamation or another.

There's almost no limit to the evil a Clinton could accomplish. That's probably what America deserves, though - otherwise it would have found a way to overcome the blatant, shameless corruption of the process this past nominating cycle.

FBI Recommends 'No Consequences' for Clinton's Reckless Email Handling--

"There is evidence to support a conclusion that any reasonable person in Secretary Clinton’s position...should have known that an unclassified system was no place for that conversation."

"Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case," said Comey,..

To be clear, this is not to suggest that in similar circumstances, a person who engaged in this activity would face no consequences. To the contrary, those individuals are often subject to security or administrative sanctions. But that is not what we are deciding now."

"Ms. Clinton will take office because she gamed the nomination process brilliantly, but she was victimized by classic tragedy.  In the most bizarre political season in memory, she was the right person in the right place at the wrong time...

Ms. Clinton then undertook an orthodox campaign of inoffensive platitudes, defining the issues with customary clichés, and proposing vacuous solutions: doing more for this cause, making improvements in that one, assuring everyone’s access to the American Dream, I’ve been working all my life to benefit the downtrodden, and let’s build on President Obama’s successes. Her campaign was exquisitely choreographed, but it was a campaign-by-formula, unimaginative and conventional...

A Hillary Clinton presidency, then, would face a national majority of citizens in open rebellion. Either intuitively or consciously they are incensed with the dominance of corporate political power. This is the template of governance Ms. Clinton helped create, the one in which she is historically and demonstrably comfortable, and the one which finances her campaigns for elected office.  Wed to those donors, and locked into this mindset of the New Democratic Party, her presidency could not and would not alter significantly the status quo. Proudly she claims as much: “Let’s not start from scratch,” she says.  Corporate dominance would remain unchallenged, the rebellion ignored...

Reform is neither difficult nor unprecedented.  Our history displays a number of means of subordinating corporate interests to the welfare of the American people...
