TCM Review = Escape from Crime (1942)

Recommended Posts

well, TCM played this movie not long ago, and i just watched it. i was drawn to it because of the title, and it does fit the bill. a short movie, about 50 minutes id guess.

i must say i wasnt impressed by any of the acting other than lt. malone who did a great job as a cop.

the highlight of this movie was a fantastic gunfight at the end. lots of bullets and closeups of bullet holes forming. although inside the room where gangsters were held up was unbelievably fake. how they can make something look and sound so good in 1 aspect literally stink in another is beyond me. it worth a watch if you like a obscure noir.

on my scale of 1-5, i give this a 3
