Sure, DARK.

I'll put that Simon cover (or NEARLY covered!) up there with HERB ALPERT's "Whipped Cream and Other Delights" cover!

You know, this is the first time I've posted an album cover I don't actually own. The cover picture is just so good - better than the music on the record. Carly sure made some sexy album covers, but I think 'Boys in the Trees' is the best in that respect.

The only album I've ever owned of hers was her 1976 collection 'The Best of Carly Simon' (which is also a pretty good album cover, I think).

What makes that one of your FAVORITE album covers?

Surely, it CAN'T be the "artwork".  but regardless...

It IS one of my FAVORITE ALBUMS.

The John Barleycorn album cover was one of my least favorite.    I even remember putting it at the back of the rack so none of my friends would see it since it reminded me of something my dad would own.    But I loved the music and Traffic was one of the bands that pushed me from rock and more into jazz.

Simplify, simplify. I just like the plain, unadorned cover.

Just the facts, ma'am. It also fits the title tune and

the whole ye olde English folke vibe that was one

part of the Traffic sound. I do like the other covers

too--the band pics and the cut off corner drawings.
