robertadavis746
Years ago TCM showcased a weekend or week of movies with a "school" or "teachers" theme. There was a movie that was shown where a well to do aging couple had a young daughter (the young actress was blonde) she was left at home consistently with the hired help,as her parents were "jet setters". she would sneak out of the house to go visit a African American family with little children, she caused a car accident and I believe the car driver that would take her was killed, or killed someone. At one point she lit a fire in her upstairs bedroom in a trash can, when the fire dept. arrived she ran away. Once she was caught up with, the judge ordered her to go to a all girls reform type school where she was ridiculed and teased for being a "rich girl". This movie was so good. Does anyone know what the title is ????? It may have been a movie from the 40's-50's.
TopBilled
Welcome to the message boards Roberta. It sounds like BELOVED BRAT, a late 30s Warner Brothers film starring Bonita Granville. Here's the link about the movie on TCM's database: http://www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title/2426/The-Beloved-Brat/
