Janet0312
I dunno, but I'm still reading Keep Watching the Skies by Bill Warren. What a wonderful tome! I did find some errors in there, as much as he and his co patriarch worked on this epic. Let me know if I'm wrong here, folks. In his synopsis of The Day the Earth Stood Still, he lists Francis Bavier (Aunt Bea) as the landlady of the boarding house that Klaatu resides in. Not. I don't know the actress's name, but it is another woman that shows Klaatu his room and says that the kid is quiet.
film lover 293
Janet0312--The error is Warrens'. The boardinghouse owner, Mrs. Crockett, is played by Edith Evanson. Frances Bavier (Aunt Bea) plays Mrs. Barley, a resident of the boardinghouse.
