TopBilled
Thanks Eric & Cris for the updates on Tracey Ullman. She was a guest programmer back in November 2007.
jamesjazzguitar
The new Birth of a Nation; The L.A. Times is really going after Nate Parker due to his 2001 acquittal on rape charges. Front page new story, entertainment section almost daily, and even an editorial by actress Gabrielle Union in the editorial section (followed up today by a front page story today in the entertainment section related to Union that of course they tie back to the editorial). Union's editorial wasn't anti-Parker but instead about the fact she was raped and how that impacted her playing a character in the film that is rapped. BUT still it mentions the 2001 case. Some people are calling for a boycott of the film.
