DJBeacon
Just watched this documentary and very educational. I had never even heard of "El Topo". And then 5 other films examined. Definitely some movies I want to look for. Like they said, it is the audience that creates the cult.
LawrenceA
I like El Topo. I had heard about it and read about it for years, but didn't see it for the first time until about 5 years ago. It ranks in my top ten favorite films of 1970. I just looked the documentary up to see what other films they mentioned. Here they are for anyone interested: Night of the Living Dead (1968) Pink Flamingos (1972) The Harder They Come (1973) The Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975) Eraserhead (1977) I've seen them all, and recommend them, too. Arsan404
I am not a fan of zombie movies, but I like Night Of The Living Dead (and 28 Days Later).
