Race over to Amazon for a "Must Have Book!!!"

  I was just writing about movie books & in particular TCM's new "Essentials Book' which I must get!

 

& was corresponding w/another about cinema books & just had to tell him about of my top 3-5 most valued one's, ever since collecting them 37yrs ago-9have approx. 175 to date, but many are now raggedy)

 

Among my top #3 is "THE GREAT STARS: THE GOLDEN YEARS" (By David Shipman)

 

Our own (bansi/mongo) was the 1 that urged me to rush over to ebay at the time to get it,which I did.  It's 1 of those that now looks like a truck hit it though

 

I was just curious & looked it up again-(to see if it was still in print, or revised) & THERE IT WAS, on Amazon & ultra $cheap$ too!

 

Though it now has a neat cover in color on it (Tracy & Hepburn *"GWTW" & more)

 

FOR THE RECORD MY A #1 BOOK IS MR. OSBORNE's "85yrs of the *OSCAR"-(also very heavy!)

 

I URGE ALL TO GET THIS BOOK, It'S RIGHT UP THE ALLEY OF ALL TCM-ITE'S

 

& To (TopBilled) we correspond quite a bit, but do you also collect movie books pal?
