"Premiere" mag. once voted "Bride of Frankenstein...

Recommended Posts

The sadly now gone superb movie magazine used to conduct polls, but only of it's editing team & 1 issue voted 1935's "The Bride of Frankenstein" (Universal) as the all-time greatest thriller/horror film.

"Premiere"-(l987-2002) would cover a different genre in various issues

I have my past issues buried somewhere, but off the top of my head I recall a few

Musicals "Wizard of 0z"

Westerns "The Searchers"

Sci-Fi "200l"

War "Apocalypse Now"

Comedy I forget, but think it may have been the same as AFI's "Some Like It Hot?"
