I've managed to see 37 of the films they listed, and of the remaining 13, I have 6 here waiting to be watched. I had never heard of Amer or Berberian Sound Studio.

Here's another list. This is on Rotten Tomatoes. They list the "best" horror movie for each year from 1920 to now, based on the tomato-meter score.

Lol...I just watched that movie for the first time a week or two ago, because it was on that list. It was incredibly ridiculous. The bit with Jerry O'Connell laying on the deck of the boat after being chewed up but still not dying was very silly.

The Skeleton Key (2005), starring Kate Hudson, was a very good horror film.  I saw it in the theatre.  It was set in a plantation in Louisiana with lots of Southern Gothic atmosphere, and some terrifically scary scenes.  To top it off, it had a great twist ending.

Like most of these lists, I don't agree with the order, or some of the choices (Unfriended was awful), but it may give you some new titles to look for. I haven't seen 19 of these.
