Thanks so much, TCM, for screening MIRANDA with Glynnis Johns this morning.

It has been more than 35 yrs. since I saw this film and while I wasn't able to watch it in 'real time' I'm looking forward to watching my VHS tape this weekend.

Any possibility you could acquire the sequel to MIRANDA (also with Miss Johns)?

Thanks again for showing this rarely seen comedy!

THANK YOU TCM

I finally replaced my old grainy copy of MIRANDA purchased from a collector on E-Bay with a nice crisp sharp copy. Now if you could just show the sequel MAD ABOUT MEN I will have the complete set. Another great Mermaid movie never released to VHS or DVD is Mermaids of Tiburon. Grainy copies of this movie are also the only thing available.

erzbet,

"Miranda"...what a great movie. Glynnis Johns was very fetching as the mermaid. I liked the end of the movie...so, does the sequel pick up right after the final scene of "Miranda"? Do we find out the genealogy of the little flipper?

Hi, Rusty,

Thanks for your query. Wish I could help you but I've never seen MIRANDA'S sequel...only read about it.

Perhaps another MIRANDA/GLYNNIS JOHNS fan could provide the answer for you. Good luck!

Best regards,

Erzbet
