Janet0312
No way. I just watched a bio of Mr. Lugosi on GetTV. Ray Walston opined that Lugosi made a huge mistake in not accepting the role of the Frankenstein monster. I disagree. I don't think Lugosi could have pulled it off, no matter how much makeup, the square head piece and neck bolts that were applied. I don't believe that role suited him in any way. I can barely stand him as the monster in Frankenstein Meets the Wolfman, although I would give almost anything to see all that footage of his edited dialogue. I'm sorry Mr. Lugosi made so many bad choices later on when he started out with such a promising career on the stage. But I still love him. I always will. He's my favorite part of Halloween. hamradio
Was the idea to give the monster split personality? He looks like a crying Frankenstein. I want my Teddy!

Movie Collector OH
It's all great fun. I've been recording these so far. Can't wait to watch them when I get some free time.
Sepiatone
I'd rather see any footage of BUDDY EBSEN as the TIN MAN. I think Walston was referring to Lugosi missing out on all the recurring work and money he might have made in reprising the role in so many more movies. And.....doesn't that picture HAM posted look more like AL LEWIS? Sepiatone
