slappy3500
Ol' Johnny D. has played more nutballs than Dennis Hopper and Anthony Perkins combined. Has he evere played anyone normal? He even looks over-the-top as a pirate in "Pirates of the Carribean". The 'king of the gypsies' role in "Chocolat was ALMOST normal but how "normal" are rootless nomads. He was more normal than Leo's "Gilbert Grape" but how much is that saying? I want to know if he has ever played a regular sorta guy. I mean it's not acting if you really ARE nuts! bansi4
As a matter of fact he did. The movie was "Nick of Time" (1995) with Christopher Walken. Johnny Depp played a businessman whose little daughter is taken hostage and to get her back he must kill someone first. Good suspense. And Johnny wears a suit! gigglepezy
He also played a gypsy in "The Man Who Cried" with Christina Ricci so he was pretty normal.
slappy3500
nor'mal,a. [L. normalis] 1. To act in a manner inconsistant with Johnny Depp. 2. A person who never had scissors for appendages or who was never possesed by an evil space alien.
