This is a great day for civilization. I am proud of the United States for sticking by me in following a necessary, but somewhat unconventional, path. People have been trying to make this “Deal” for many years. Millions of lives will be saved. Congratulations to ALL!

trump is like an arsonist who starts a fire, so he can put it out and be hailed as a hero.

But nevermind the people who died in the fire, lost property in the fire or who will be permanently emotionally and physically scarred for life by the fire or those who lost loved ones as well.

To make himself look better, trump is now characterizing the Kurds as terrorists, and those were the people who helped us knock out Isis. Then the Kurds stayed on the job to keep our terrorists enemies locked up until they had to go and fight for their own lives.

The world can see now that alliances with trump will only last as long as trump thinks they're feasible. In other words there's no security in an Alliance with the United States As Long As trump is running this country.

AND ALL OF A SUDDEN......The Republicans are suddenly no longer worried about National Security issue.

The big hypocrites!!!  They were just going through the motions re. National security, when all they care about is their own election security.

Wow. We bombed our own base on purpose, because the impulsive decision by @realDonaldTrump didn’t leave time to evacuate the right way. Is this the America you grew up believing in?

I know its tawdry and no one on this platform cares, but if Obama was blowing up our own equipment in a mortifying, scrambled retreat, you'd have to defibrillate half the Republican conference.

White House officials were shocked by Mulvaney’s remarks linking aid to investigations. They expected him to repeat the message that the House was being unfair to Trump and that there was no quid pro quo.

President Trump’s threatening letter in which he urged Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to not be a “fool” or a “tough guy” was not well-received, with Erdogan today condemning the message as undiplomatic and saying “we haven’t forgotten it”

Erdogan likely read that clown's letter and laughed. And then proceeded to slaughter the Kurds. The letter is comical. Ineffective. A total failure. He and his dumb dumbs leaked the letter to Fox News so Regan could laud his bloviating, bombastic tone & mistake it for strength.

In interviews with more than 20 GOP lawmakers and congressional aides, many said they were repulsed by Trump's decision to host the G7 at his own resort and incensed by Mick Mulvaney's admission that U.S. aid to Ukraine was withheld for political reasons.

Democrats should immediately vote on a bill to defund the G7 if it takes place at a Trump property and get every Republican on record about whether they support a President giving a no-bid contract to himself.

Bill Maher offers Trump a $1M check to leave office: 'You love money'

....."Just take my check for $1 million," Maher, a long-standing Trump critic, said on HBO's "Real Time."

"I bet I could get another 1,000 people just from here to the beach — including Malibu, of course — who would pay that much to see you resign," Maher added.

Maher concluded, "Mr. President, it is really very simple. You love money. We hate you."..........

Elijah Cummings truly tried to make America great  by tearing down the barriers which kept all Americans from fairness and equality.

trump is trying to resurrect those barriers and pit Americans against each other.

Such a divisive presidency is Un- American.

The fact Pelosi is leadin’ a bipartisan group to Jordon signals more cracks formin’ in Trump’s Republican firewall.

Sounds like a few of the GOP might actually believe Trump is a dangerous idiot.
========================

Pelosi led a bipartisan delegation to Jordan to talk Middle East peace amid the Syrian crisis

"...Pelosi said it is a "critical time for the security and stability of the region," and said the delegation specifically discussed "regional stability, counterterrorism, security cooperation, Middle East peace" and "economic development."

The issues of an increased flow of refugees and

the "dangerous opening that has been provided to ISIS, Iran, and Russia" were also touched on as nine US officials joined with Jordan's top leaders....."

.... The members of the US House delegation were Representatives Adam Schiff, Eliot Engel (Chairman of the House Foreign Affairs Committee), Mac Thornberry, Bennie Thompson, Ron Kind, Susan Davis, Stephen Lynch, and Elaine Luria.

The meeting took place in Amman, Jordan's capital, and the delegation also met with US Marines there. .......

While a day doesn’t go by without @realDonaldTrump saying something stupid, this tweet about his attempted G7/Doral grift shows a real depth of ignorance. Note he made the decision before determining its legality, which in legal circles is called “****-backwards.”
