DC Circuit Court of Appeals rules Congress can have unredacted Mueller Report. See, courts can decide inter-branch disputes! This bodes well for en banc review of last week’s punt in the McGahn decision.

The only thing trump ever succeeded in legitimately was being born to a rich Daddy.

Clearly the only thing Trump cares about is the impact the Coronavirus has on his chance for re-election.

And ironically, his inept handling of this crisis may cost him that re-election.

The problem with this enemy for trump is that he can't win by bullying, or intimidating, or attacking, or by using conspiratorial spying and lies-- which is his MO for all adversaries.

He can't file a counter lawsuit against it, he can't go into bankruptcy court against it and what he often does is simply an out-of-court settlement-- admitting no wrongdoing-- he can't do that.

No amount of lawsuits or verbal vitriolic attacks will stop this virus, slow it down or even control it.

Trump's bag of tricks won't work this time.

Because what's called for is a completely professional, managerial, and experienced administrative well organized staff approach with people working together harmoniously to accomplish one important task.

Unfortunately, that is beyond him and his cohorts.

Trump announces new campaign event after Democrats cancel rallies over public health concerns

"Trunp's reelection campaign announced Tuesday that he will hold an event with supporters in Milwaukee the same day Democrats Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and former Vice President Joe Biden announced they were canceling events in Ohio out of concern for public health amid the coronavirus outbreak.

Trump has privately insisted that there be no changes to his schedule, despite warnings from health officials about large gatherings as the virus has spread throughout the United States. He said Tuesday that the public should "stay calm" because the coronavirus will "go away," though officials on the Sanders and Biden campaigns said they were acting on advice from public officials who were worried about convening big crowds during the outbreak.

Trump will launch the "Catholics for Trump" coalition on March 19 at the Wisconsin Center.  ..........

Maybe slumlord Jared's contribution to conquer the coronavirus will be volunteering the rats in his Baltimore apartment complexes for  CDC experiments on the virus.

This is not a financial crisis. This is a medical crisis.
The financial collapse continues until the medical crisis is fixed.
Markets falling are the fever.
Fiscal stimulus does nothing so long as the underlying disease festers.

Address the real crisis and you fix the markets.

President Trump will not be tested for the coronavirus after coming into contact with a Brazilian official who tested positive for the virus just days after a Mar-a-Lago visit, the White House said on Thursday. (via @nytimes)

This is some next level stupidity.

AP Fact Check: Trump Is Wrong About Insurers and Coronavirus

Trump's misstatement on health insurance was only ONE of a number of claims in his prime-time address that were at odds with the facts

......TRUMP: “Earlier this week, I met with the leaders of (the) health insurance industry, who have agreed to waive all co-payments for coronavirus treatments, extend insurance coverage to these treatments, and to prevent surprise medical billing.”

THE FACTS: No, they did not say they will cover co-pays for treatment. And Trump's statement about surprise medical billing is questionable..........

TRUMP: “We are cutting massive amounts of red tape to make antiviral therapies available in record time. These treatments will significantly reduce the impact and reach of the virus.”

THE FACTS: People suffering from COVID-19 or those who get it in the current outbreak should not expect those therapies to be available to them..........

TRUMP: “We will be suspending all travel from Europe, except the United Kingdom, for the next 30 days.”

THE FACTS: That's not exactly his plan..........

TRUMP: "These prohibitions will not only apply to the tremendous amount of trade and cargo, but various other things as we get approval."

THE FACT: That is also wrong. The White House quickly clarified that the restriction on movement from Europe "only applies to human beings, not goods and cargo.”.........

McConnell: dismisses House coronavirus bill as an 'ideological wish list'

"..........House Democrats unveiled their coronavirus package late Wednesday night. The bill expands unemployment insurance by providing states with at least $1 billion to compensate for administrative costs and other contingencies arising as a result of the coronavirus response.

The bill also provides $500 million for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children to provide food assistance for low-income mothers who lose their jobs due to the coronavirus, as well as $400 million to help local food banks meet increased demand.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is continuing to negotiate with Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.  ................

Republican trump supporter McConnell's problem is he doesn't want to do anything that could help the average American during this pandemic crisis.

Trump claims (falsely) all Americans returning to country are being tested:

"We have heavily tested. If an American coming back or anybody coming back,
we have a tremendous testing set up where people coming in have to be tested ... if it shows positive ... We have to quarantine."

NPR: “Trump did not push to do aggressive testing because more testing might have led to more cases being discovered of the Coronavirus outbreak,

and Trump made it clear the lower the numbers on Coronavirus, the better for the president and his re-election this fall.”
