President Trump reportedly tried to poach German scientists working on a cure for coronavirus and offered cash so the vaccine would be exclusive to the USA

  • President Donald Trump reportedly tried to poach German scientists working on a cure for the coronavirus so he could secure exclusive rights to a potential vaccine for the US only.
  • Newspaper WELT am Sonntag reported that Trump's administration had offered large sums of cash to Germany-based biotech company CureVac to secure rights for the vaccine work, "but only for the USA."
  • The German government is battling back, offering financial incentives to the company to remain in Germany.
  • Karl Lauterbach, a senior German politician and professor of epidemiology, said in response to the report: "The exclusive sale of a possible vaccine to the USA must be prevented by all means. Capitalism has limits."
  • CureVac said it has been in contact with many organizations and global authorities, but denied "rumors of an acquisition" in a statement Sunday to Business Insider.

Also, watch for more industry bailouts from him that only seek to help his personal investments. This is why we typically demand to see tax returns and make sure that a POTUS is completely divested before taking office. This is the exact reason.

FYI--

Mrs. McDaniel is Sen. Mitt Romney's niece. Reportedly trump has asked her not to use her maiden name in her capacity as head of the RNC.

Dr Knowlittle - the doctor who can talk to the idiots:

This is a timeline of the national (US) embarrassments response to the coronavirus epidemic:

January 22: “We have it totally under control. It’s one person coming in from China. It’s going to be just fine.”

February 2: “We pretty much shut it down coming in from China.”

February 24: “The Coronavirus is very much under control in the USA... Stock Market starting to look very good to me!”

February 25: “CDC and my Administration are doing a GREAT job of handling Coronavirus.”

February 25: “I think that's a problem that’s going to go away... They have studied it. They know very much. In fact, we’re very close to a vaccine.”

February 26: “The 15 (cases in the US) within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero.”

February 26: “We're going very substantially down, not up.”

February 27: “One day it’s like a miracle, it will disappear.”

February 28: “We're ordering a lot of supplies. We're ordering a lot of, uh, elements that frankly we wouldn't be ordering unless it was something like this. But we're ordering a lot of different elements of medical.”

March 2: “You take a solid flu vaccine, you don't think that could have an impact, or much of an impact, on corona?”

March 2: “A lot of things are happening, a lot of very exciting things are happening and they’re happening very rapidly.”

March 4: “If we have thousands or hundreds of thousands of people that get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work — some of them go to work, but they get better.”

March 5: “I NEVER said people that are feeling sick should go to work.”

March 5: “The United States... has, as of now, only 129 cases... and 11 deaths. We are working very hard to keep these numbers as low as possible!”

March 6: “I think we’re doing a really good job in this country at keeping it down... a tremendous job at keeping it down.”

March 6: “Anybody right now, and yesterday, anybody that needs a test gets a test. They’re there. And the tests are beautiful.... the tests are all perfect like the letter was perfect. The transcription was perfect. Right? This was not as perfect as that but pretty good.”

March 6: “I like this stuff. I really get it. People are surprised that I understand it... Every one of these doctors said, ‘How do you know so much about this?’ Maybe I have a natural ability. Maybe I should have done that instead of running for president.”

March 6: “I don't need to have the numbers double because of one ship that wasn't our fault.”

March 8: “We have a perfectly coordinated and fine tuned plan at the White House for our attack on CoronaVirus.”

March 9: “This blindsided the world.”

March 10: “And it hit the world. And we’re prepared, and we’re doing a great job with it. And it will go away. Just stay calm. It will go away.”

March 11: "We're having to fix a problem that four weeks ago, nobody thought would be a problem."

March 12: “It’s going to go away. ... The United States, because of what I did and what the administration did with China, we have 32 deaths at this point ... when you look at the kind of numbers that you’re seeing coming out of other countries, it’s pretty amazing when you think of it.”

I didn’t know whether to use the Thanks emogi, or the Like, the Confused or Sad one.  They all apply, but since this made me laugh all over again, as well as being appalled at our leader’s utter stupidity, I went with the Laugh one.

Trump’s worthless “leading” in this pandemic should be more than enough for even the brain dead deplorables to vote him out of office.  He has no clue how to lead in a crisis, other than to try to save himself only.  His incompetence on display in this timeline should be used on Democratic ads between now and November.  Bloomberg, are you reading!?

Invasion of the Body Snatchers

Let me start a conspiracy theory right here right now.  The (sorta) kinder, gentler Trump seen today in front of the cameras, actually acknowledging truths about the virus and the pandemic, is actually a double.   The real Trump is sick after testing positive for COV-ID 19,  and is in Hiding at one of his properties.  Should his age and underlying conditions do him in once and for all, the Trump double will continue as the figurehead for the GOP trying to get through with the rest of their agenda.

Makes sense to me.

NOW: @realDonaldTrump who once called this the latest Democratic Hoax said he knew before anyone else this was a pandemic. Also claims he's responded better than anyone to it by suspending travel to China and Europe.

Trump just said he hasn't been able to get "good press" on what he's done so far. "We've done a poor job on press relations," he says, then says he isn't sure who to blame for that. The president until a few weeks ago called media and Democratic commentary on the virus a "hoax."

Trump responded with celebratory re-retweets of the "Mueller loss."

The oligarch who funded the trolls was also thrilled. (w/

In a statement released Tuesday, Prigozhin slammed former special counsel Robert Mueller and claimed he and his company were "illegally persecuted."

President Donald Trump also trumpeted the development, even though it was a setback for his own Justice Department.........

Now they're calling it a recession, but so many jobs will not make a comeback.

One unfortunate expectation is that Amazon will greatly expand and thereby further reduce the number of brick and mortar businesses that employ hundreds of thousands of people.  Small towns and small cities will be drastically affected.

Careful, there may not be any more stocks of Kool-Aid on the grocery shelves. But I dare say you drank enough for the brainwashing to be complete.  FYI, it was the GOP that changed the stimulus package passed by the House Democrats last week, and changed the provisions forALL businesses to offer paid leave to their employees.  When the Senate GOP  and Donald Trump were ok with it, it exempted businesses with 500 or more employees, and those with less than 50 employees.

Doesn’t sound like the Trumpites are for taking care of all employees affected by the pandemic.
