Phillips, MD @DrPhillipsMD · 4h The POTUS makes a bizarre appearance to highlight soaring stock prices. But, 45% of Americans don’t own stock, and too many heard this speech on their car radios while in line at charity food banks across the US. I have heard this or similar before, but wonder about accuracy. While 45% may not own stocks outright, how many are invested in 401(k's) and similar? How many work for a company whose pension plan is invested in stocks? How many have insurance from companies that are invested in stocks? They may not own stocks, but they are affected by the stock market.

How many have insurance from companies that are invested in stocks? They may not own stocks, but they are affected by the stock market. According to the Pension Rights Center, 56% of American workers participate in a workplace retirement plan of some sort. From Vanguard's data: The average 401(k) balance was $92K in 2019 The median 401(k) balance was $22K in 2019. As a refresher, the median is the point where half the samples are above this value, and half the samples are below this value. The discrepancy between the median and average indicates that people at the top end are skewing the average higher (same thing happens with income data and net worth data), and is an indicator of wealth disparity.

Swithin
There is concern, particularly due to his traitorous proclivities and his need for funds, that Trump may try to sell America's diplomatic and military secrets to his foreign friends, particularly in Russia.
