The fact that the story ended up in headlines in "The New York Times " certainly didn't help. His resignation did finally come after the Republican Governor of Kansas requested it. It doesn't matter whether you are beheaded, electrocuted or shot --dead is dead. In the 1950s they were still beheading, using the guillotine, for murderers in France. In the 1960s the Killers from Truman Capote's " In Cold Blood " were hung in Kansas. Either way they're dead. If we had a steel industry like in the past, we wouldn't have to import! Laissez-faire capitalism is based on Greed, materialism and Sky High profits. trump's corporate tax break has trickled down to the corporate boardroom and to some upscale stockholders. The only hope the American workers ever had were our labor unions, which for the most part have been promoted by the Democratic party and which for the most part have been attacked and virtually destroyed by the Republican Party. It was only those left-wing supported unions that gave working class Americans a chance to actually have middle class incomes without having a college education.

This has nothing to do with people on the right-- you must have the right on your brain. This is about Rogue police officers who are shooting unarmed black men for no reason whatsoever. Not enough of them are tried in court for murder. FYI-- That's why the black young people started Black Lives Matter. And that's why some of the black NFL players kneel during the national anthem. Justice is ensuring the accused gets a fair trial from their 'peers' and that the outcome (sentencing), is consistently applied to all those conficted of similar crimes. "setting an example' is often used by DAs (mostly conservative ones) running for election or re-election to show they are tough on crime. (and typically those that get 'set up' as an 'example' are people of color).
