LawrenceA
1) Lost 2) Game of Thrones 3) Hannibal 4) Buffy the Vampire Slayer (first 3 seasons were in the 1990's) 5) The Sopranos 6) Fargo 7) True Detective 8) The Walking Dead 9) Rome 10) Longmire There are also a number of shows that I liked a lot that fluctuated in quality from great to poor, like The Good Wife, Supernatural, Eureka, Warehouse 13, Jericho or Heroes, or shows that I liked that were canceled too soon, such as Firefly or Invasion. I should also perhaps mention that a lot of the shows that generally show up on these kinds of lists are ones I have not watched: The Wire, Breaking Bad, Mad Men, Orange is the New Black, and more. I've read many, many times about how great they all are, but I just haven't gotten around to them.
speedracer5
In no particular order: 1. Gilmore Girls 2. Veronica Mars 3. Mad Men 4. Portlandia 5. The Big Bang Theory (though I haven't watched any of the new episodes for a couple seasons now. I don't like how they have everyone paired off. I think this show has run its course). 6. 30 Rock 7. Freaks and Geeks (okay, it only lasted a little bit into 2000. But it was canceled far too soon) 8. The Office 9. Arrested Development 10. Downton Abbey
HoldenIsHere
These are in no particular order: SMALLVILLE BATES MOTEL GIRLS DEGRASSI: THE NEXT GENERATION THAT ‘70s SHOW (started in the 1990s) THE BIG BANG THEORY 3RD ROCK FROM THE SUN (started in the 1990s) THE COMEBACK FREAKS AND GEEKS (1999-2000) JACK & BOBBY The titles in bold lasted only one season. Well, THE COMEBACK did have a second season 9 years later. Valerie Cherish (as portrayed by Lisa Kudrow) is one of the greatest TV characters of all-time. TheGayDivorcee
Mad Men The Sopranos Downton Abbey Buffy the Vampire Slayer (and 1990s) Felicity (2 seasons in the 1990s) Once and Again Project Runway Pit Bulls and Parolees The Americans Real Housewives of NYC/OC/BH (don't judge!) Honorable mention to the one season show, Pasadena. It aired just after 9/11, so that may have been one of the reasons it didn't find an audience.
