Kandee
How about Kathleen Bates in Misery....
Cinemascope
And how would *you* like to have a "Number One" fan like her? Good heavens, I've forgotten how scary Kathy Bates can be.... but I really enjoyed that movie!

Mythoughts
How about Jennifer Jason Leigh in Single White Female or Rutger Hauer in The Hitcher?
Cinemascope
JJL was good playing creepy. I'd much prefer her playing intelligent, complex, life-affirming characters! She is such a good actress.
Mythoughts
Just wondering if you saw JJL in Delores Clairborne - she was pretty good in that. I also liked her in a film called Washington Square. She also was in a film called Dorothy Parker and the Vicious Circle - unfortunately it was so boring, I fell asleep on it.
Cinemascope
I absolutely watched all of those movies, I was really a big fan of JJL in the 90's. (I still am, just haven't seen her in as many movies lately). I loved Dolores Claiborne because the cinematography and the dark, overcast skies perfectly captured the mood of the film. Washington Square was a great period piece, I'd like to watch it again. And I think Mrs. Parker suffers from many of the problems of other Alan Rudolph movies, but the cast was very appealing.
