NipkowDisc Posted December 3, 2016 Share Posted December 3, 2016 Lust For Life which is always a hoot. so many hilarious scenes. van gogh brings up his brother's death in front of his still grieving widow at the dinner table and can only justify it with that he was only expressing his opinion. can't argue with that. then later on gauguin moves in to van gogh's house and it doan take long for van gogh to drive him up the wall. an unintentionally great comedy. this is really an exceptional film and a very heartfelt tribute to vincent van gogh but I'm sorry but I find it rather funny. excellent visuals and a sublime score by miklos rozsa but...
