Just so we're clear, the president and his advisers are falsely denouncing nonexistent social media censorship to justify a legally baseless executive order at a time when everyone else is talking about the fact that the coronavirus has killed more than 100,000 Americans.

trump doesn't care about Americans, even though he is president of the United States.

His number one job in life has always been stroking his Narcissistic Sociopath ego.

And why would trump change--

just because Americans are dying by the thousands every week from a pandemic that he refuses to properly manage or even care about.

Did Obama pardon war criminals?  Just askin'

And on that subject, what that Navy seal did was absolutely disgusting and his fellow soldiers knew it and reported it but Americans just rolled with it because the victims were from the Middle East.  Is Trump going to pardon the Minnesota Police Officers?

Many progressives believed Obama was a war criminal himself for the use of drones that killed non  terrorists,  as well as an American citizen.

I really don't see how the Navy Seal pardon has anything to do with protesters that commit acts of violence.     It clearly has nothing to do with Minnesota Police Officers since they would be charged with state crimes and a President's pardon powers don't apply there (which is why NY and other states filed state charges against Trump admin or campaign staff personal).

Bottom line here is that these protest and how the local and state officials and politicians deal with them will have an impact to the 2020 election and that impact can hurt the Dems.      If Dem officials come on 'too strong' that will suppress black support for Biden and Dems politicians in general.   AGAIN,  while they won't vote GOP,  they will just not vote at all.

If Dem officials do little,  to nothing ,  scenes of the damage and destruction will be used by GOP politicians and that will influence many independents,  non-partisans,  and moderates;   The type of voter that doesn't support use of violence PERIOD.     (which I believe is a majority).

The best Dems can hope for is more asinine and racist comments from Trump (which are likely).     This is another case where Trump  should have remained silent and let the protest-do-the-talking.

Donald Trump either can't or won't lead the country. Yet he's willing to go to elaborate, harmful lengths to be reelected

3:57 PM · May 29, 2020·Twitter for Android

trumps inaction during the first crucial months of the year concerning the Coronavirus is evidence of this--

Calling it a hoax and saying it was no worse than the flu.

Those over 100,000+ Americans were still alive then.

Even though he was getting good advice from advisors and federal agencies, he downplayed the pandemic because he was afraid of upsetting the stock market and the economy, which he viewed as key to his re-election bid.

So, pouring gasoline on a volatile racially- charged situation is no problem for this president, if it will get him votes from his racist base.

Where is the false equivalency?      Extremist on both side believe any-means-justify-their-ends,   and politicians on both sides,  that desire their vote,   look the other way.

That is the equivalency I was talking about AND the only one I was talking about and it isn't false.

If the false equivalency you're referring too is that the Dem and GOP are equally full of white racist OR that both care about minority rights equally,    I agree;  That is a BS false equivalency.    AND I have mentioned this in the majority of my post on the subject.

As for who feels this way about the Dem party;   it would be the progressive dems.    E.g.    Kamala Harris;    I assume you conveniently forgot that she all but called Joe Biden a racist during the debate when she said "that little girl was me".

Trump holding a press conference today and saying nothing about Minneapolis is as much as racist dog whistle as if he'd said something overtly bigoted. The obvious omission is just as immoral. He is a white supremacist, and he doesn't have to be wearing a hood to telegraph it.

The fact Trump is trying to compare a Mayor, who is responsible for serving and seeking out the interests of citizens, to military generals shows how he sees these violent protests: as a threat to be thwarted and an enemy to be defeated.

10:41 AM · May 30, 2020·Twitter for iPhone

trump's perspective is funny anyway considering he's a coward who was afraid to be in any real military activity and cheated on his medical report to get out of it.

Later he said his sex life was as dangerous and comprable to having served in Vietnam.

And that's an example of his thought process. LOL

NEW: Attorney General Bill Barr says the DOJ will use its network of 56 regional FBI Joint Terrorism Task Forces to identify the "criminal organizers and instigators" of violence during the George Floyd protests, including antifa.

Trump tweeted earlier that the U.S. would designate antifa as a terrorist organization.

However, the law only allows foreign entities to be designated as terrorist groups, and antifa is a decentralized movement with no clear leadership.

Charlottesville, Charlottesville, Charlottesville, Charlottesville?????

Isn't it funny how trump had no problems with neo nazis, ku klux klan and white supremacists in riots like Charlottesville--

Not to mention the extreme right-wing heavily-armed whites who went out to "re-open" the various States against State executive orders and terrorized different state capitals, like in Michigan?????

No, trump has no problems with these extreme right-wing white supremacist groups, whom he always says there are good people in.

But he can only target a Loosely organized extreme left-wing group.

He should be speaking out against all extremist groups.

But it's obvious that he is supporting the white supremacist groups, so they're okay with him.

I don't know if it's the end of Trumpism, as in the curtains closing. But it's certainly the logical conclusion of Trumpism to be hiding in your bunker yelling at governors for being losers for not killing more people.

The President did not come to pray; he did not lament the death of George Floyd or acknowledge the collective agony of people of color in our nation. He did not attempt to heal or bring calm to our troubled land.

We are followers of Jesus. In no way do we support the President’s incendiary response to a wounded, grieving nation. We stand with those seeking justice for the death of George Floyd through the sacred act of peaceful protest.
