Republicans made a bet that they could put a dumb bigot with an authoritarian mindset and no interest in government in the White House, get their tax cuts and judges, and make it through his tenure without a crisis. Here's the result.

Or did the Republicans just pick the dumbest rich white man they could find because--

he had the support of lower class white racists

and

he could be easily manipulated?

Well, one out of two ain't bad.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell signals to Republican Senate candidates: Distance from President Trump if necessary https://cnn.it/30gTY4r

It looks like it's starting--

The GOP leaders in the Senate are making their opinions known and have stopped rubber-stamping trump.

That's why we really don't have a stimulus package tonight for those suffering in this country.

The Republicans are fighting amongst themselves.

And my money's on Mitch McConnell.

As President Donald Trump continues to demand a return to in-person classes for schools around the country, the school attended by his youngest son has received an order prohibiting on-campus learning until at least October 1

1:53 PM · Aug 1, 2020·SocialFlow

Trump says the schools must open immediately on schedule in August and that every student must go to school and have in person classes in spite of the deadly surge of the pandemic.

But, apparently it's not safe enough to do that at the Posh Private school where trump sends his own 14 year -old son.

Barron Trump will not return to school and in person classes until at least October 1.

When Trump and Republicans in Congress want to pass tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations, they ram legislation through at lightspeed.

But when it comes to helping the American people, they ditch town.

Americans who vote for these people don't have a lot of self respect.

Pelosi had a plan months ago.  Mitch and the Republicans said no, let's wait and see.  Grow up and face facts.

This morning, President Trump threatened legal action after Nevada’s legislature passed a bill to mail ballots to all active voters

8:52 AM · Aug 3, 2020·Hootsuite Inc.

This is one for the history books, and oh, I should say the law books as well--

A president of the United States who is trying to deny American citizens the right to vote.

A president who has sworn to uphold the Constitution is attempting to deny voting rights to American citizens on a national scale.

It doesn't matter whether it's announcing coronavirus is a hoax or trying to prevent Americans to vote by mail-- which millions of Americans have been doing for decades LOL--

trump is determined to put his own political agenda, his own personal needs and his own personally ego ahead of any concern for the health and well-being of the American people.

Trump says he doesn't want people evicted, especially because the virus will spread if they have to go to big shelters. He says that when they're evicted, "it's China's fault."

6:05 PM · Aug 3, 2020·Twitter Web App

I say that when they're evicted it's Scotland's fault.

Scotland never should have allowed trump's mother to emigrate to the United States.

Or to be fair, we could say that Germany never should have allowed trump's grandfather to emigrate to the United States.

However, Germany kicked Grandpa Drumpf out because he was a Draft Dodger-- boy does that sound familiar.

At any rate, China has nothing to do with our immediate problem.;)

It has been demonstrated to us that trump and the GOP don't care about the majority of Americans.

Now, thanks to trump's inept management  and lack of a cohesive direct national response to the pandemic, Americans are dying by the thousands every day.

Undoubtedly, some of those dying were Republicans and voted for trump and the GOP.

Maybe as the pandemic tragically affects more of the GOP supporters, then maybe the GOP will think twice about their responsibilities to all Americans and the oaths that they've taken to uphold the Constitution.

It’s been 161 days since Trump promised we’d soon have zero cases in the U.S. We now have 4.9 million cases and more than 160,000 deaths.

Below is a trump quote from a recent interview concerning thousands of Americans dying every week from the pandemic:

" It is, what it is."

What Vance and his team have found with some of these documents is that *unexplained* Kremlin cash was pouring into DBTCA as it was handing out its biggest loans to Trump and Kushner.

The Kremlin- Deutsche Bank and trump--

It could be a rock group, a TV show or an international governmental corruption scheme to undermine the security of the United States of America.

And yes, trump's mental condition  appears to obviously be getting worse.

The White House reportedly asked South Dakota's governor how to add another president to Mount Rushmore, and she later gave Trump a 4-foot replica with his face on it

2:20 PM · Aug 8, 2020·Business Insider Login

 Personally, I'm all for this.

But it might be a little expensive.

And I can even solve the space problem.

*First we have to get a full body sculpture carved out of trump dangling with one hand holding on to the mountain underneath the heads of the presidents.

** Then we'd have to get some kind of weather durable sculpture of Martin Landau standing on a precipice above him with Landau's foot, you know where.:)

*** Lastly, Melania hanging on for dear life to trump's other hand like Eva Marie Saint would be strictly optional because it's getting to be expensive.

But you can just imagine the tourist attraction this would make--

American history Buffs along with movie history Buffs could all come together and have a good time.

And to think the original idea was to carve out Robert E Lee there.

If some people think they're having a really hard time getting rid of Confederate statues and finding a place to store them or display them,

Can you imagine how hard it would be to get rid of a public Robert E Lee sculpture if it was carved into Mount Rushmore?:o
