Fox confirms WH directs Army Corps of Engineers to see if it can divert money to border wall

from disaster funding bill to cover wildfires in California, hurricanes in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico

I'm not sure "declaring a state of emergency to divert funds away from Americans that *actually* experienced emergencies" has the awesome optics the WH appears to think it has.

Maybe it's going to be the Mexican Army Corps of Engineers. LOL

Not weird at all. Trump is a master at alienating people he ought to be trying to, and should be able to, persuade. And that’s because he can’t make a coherent argument. He’s incompetent.

That incompetence, along with his ingrained, pathological narcissism, leaves us with a president who does little more than spout nonsense and lies, and pander to those who feed his egotistic needs. And all of this makes rational governance impossible.

Ironically kellyanne Conway's husband, George Conway, has become a spokesperson for conservative lawyers against Trump.

Wouldn't you like to see a reality show in their home?

Stepping back for a minute: If no other reporting existed on Trump/Russia, the fact that the FBI started a CI investigation to determine whether or not the sitting president of the US was either compromised by or an agent of Russia, it would be the biggest political story...ever.

It’s breathtaking to think the FBI opened a counterintel probe of a president of the United States & his possible role as Russian operative. But also realize, beyond Trump, we have no template to determine what to do if true. You can’t install Pence. Pres. Pelosi? Pres. Clinton?

The next time you hear Trump claim that he's "tough" on Russia, remember that he has:

--Weakened NATO and the EU

--Given Putin cover on Crimea

--Repeated Kremlin talking points

--Ignored election interference

--Lifted sanctions on key oligarch

--Disregarded US intelligence

How did we ever get in this mess?

Christie: Trump has a "revolving door of deeply flawed individuals — amateurs, grifters, weaklings, convicted and unconvicted felons — who were hustled into jobs they were never suited for, sometimes seemingly without so much as a background check via Google or Wikipedia."

Is he talking about himself too? LOL

The Atlantic calls for Trump to be impeached

Impeach Donald Trump

Starting the process will rein in a president who is undermining American ideals

—and bring the debate about his fitness for office into Congress, where it belongs.

That's what they're saying.....

Let's be very blunt about this: Trump is willing to starve his own people, which is something that only the most brutal dictators in history have done.
