Even though, I never bought this record I always enjoyed this song on the radio.


It's 46 years old - - I have it on good authority that they still play Beethoven's Fifth Symphony and it's a little older than 46 years old. And one of the most popular musicals performed today Oklahoma! I would put it someplace in the 75-year range.


Music is never forgotten if there are still people who are playing it and want to hear it and that's the case with most of the songs that are on here hardly forgotten. I hear them everyday on my cable music channel .LOL


It was a wonderful feel good summer song and while people who were

around at that time likely remember it, people who weren't may have never

heard it. Yep, 100 years from now we can still listen to Tie a Yellow Ribbon.

Whoopee. I am also reminded of a line from The Smiths--The music that

they constantly play says nothing to me about my life.
