DOD should immediately revoke all such graduations/completions and authorization to wear the tab - retroactively. More importantly, Cotton should stop claiming it as an accomplishment.

ElCid
Where are the Republicans on Trump's comments praising Putin for invading Ukraine? In hiding?
JamesJazGuitar
13 minutes ago, ElCid said: Where are the Republicans on Trump's comments praising Putin for invading Ukraine? In hiding? Of course GOPers are in hiding especially GOP Senators, most, even the Trumpers, don't support his view of Putin and Russia in general. So this is more good news that maybe, just maybe, Trump will start losing support from key GOPers in leadership positions. (again, maybe, just maybe).

Do you believe only GOP appointed Justices decide their rulings based on politics (instead of the Constitution)? (or do you believe Dem appointed Justices do this as well)? (or do you believe Dem appointed Justices do this as well)? Democratic appointed justices tend to base their decisions on The Constitution and how America has changed since 1783. They consider how the majority of people think while protecting the rights of minorities. The difference is that Republicans tend to nominate justices who support far right-wing political theories. Not all, but most lately. The Trump appointed justices in particular hide behind The Constitution, but exercise extreme right-wing thinking. And they are joined by Alito and Thomas.
ElCid
28 states have called for a Constitutional convention to adopt a balanced budget amendment. S.C. legislature is voting on it now and appears Republican dominated legislature will pass it. Problem is that once the convention begins, all bets are off as to where it will stop. They may adopt even more amendments. There has never been a Constitutional convention since the original was written. Ironically, these same states are spending Federal dollars that were borrowed. Under a balanced budget all that money will disappear. Recently attended a meeting of a local public service organization. Plans were laid out for multi-millions in improvements and expansions. All of it money from the Federal government and the Biden budgets. They even used Biden money to pay for the studies and planning. This is just one small organization. How many thousands out there in all 50 states that are doing the same thing.
Vautrin
The 14 federal CDs will now likely to be split pretty evenly between Dems and Reps, while the state legislature will have a GOP advantage, though not as great as it was before the NC Supreme Court decided. The federal CDs were redrawn by special masters, giving the Dems more seats. I still think Cawthorn will be out of my district and running in another one. Good riddance to bad rubbish, at least locally.

Bogie56
Cancel that culture. Country star John Rich compares teachers and librarians to PEDOPHILES at Nashville school hearing for putting 'banned and obscene' books in the hands of children 'What's the difference between a teacher, educator or librarian putting one of these books like you have on the desk of a student,' Rich asked lawmakers at the hearing in Nashville. 'Or a guy in a white van pulling up at the edge of school when school lets out and saying, ''Come on around kids, let me read you this book and show you these pictures?''' Rich, who famously invited women to 'save horses, ride cowboys' in the lyrics of his 2004 song of the same name with Big Kenny, later reiterated his stance on Twitter. Several attendees could be seen nodding, seemingly in agreement with Rich. The bill, HB1944, discussed in the hearing, HB1944, seeks to ban unspecified 'obscene books' in public and charter schools. It was sponsored by state Representative Scott Cepicky after a school district in the Volunteer State banned a book about the Holocaust.
