Watch the 1939 Academy Award

Wouldn't watching that old Academy Award Ceremony be a hoot? Wouldn't you like watching all those great actors in their hey-day be a part of the audience or step up for their awards? I think it'd be facinating.

 

Or, how about a marathon of Sid Caesar, Jack Benny, and other similar comedy hours prior to the 60's? Some of this footage may be better than any 'movies' some of these comics have made.

 

So, I guess I'm asking Turner Classics, if no one else out there knows, if they can tell me as to how some of this old stuff can be viewed.
