Well put, JonParker. And it's all so subjective individually. Most people know I don't like graphic violence, but if it were up to my mother, there would be no movies with open mouth kisses, guns without pop-out flags that say 'Bang" or use of the words Gosh OR Darn (and certainly not used together).


I'm not so worried about films - they are usually in some kind of story telling format where a viewer is in a situation to make inferences about behavior (even if the bad guy does get away with it), but I do object to all the Girls-Gone-Wild commercials. Now there's a message of hope for the future! i just watched a forum about the imagery of african-american young women in rap videos and thought - at least they chose to get paid!!
