Bogie56
Trump has made a steady practise of deleting and destroying evidence in his various law suits throughout his entire career. That has been well looked at. Then he crucified Clinton for doing the same. What I find curious is that as with most pathological liars whatever they crow about they are almost certainly more guilty of themselves. Recall Trump's knee-jerk debate response to Hillary Clinton on the subject of Putin ..."Oh no, your'e the puppet, you're the puppet." That response was so ridiculously untrue I believe it was an insight into Trump's real guilt.
hamradio
"staffers in the Trump Administration are racing to “purge their cellphones” of relevant information as the threat of a subpoena by one of the three investigations into the Trump team’s potentially treasonous collusion with the Russian Federation grows with each passing day.... These desperate acts are only plunging these staffers deeper into hot water, since the White House’s legal counsel [had] ordered all staff members to preserve “any materials that could be connected to Russian interference in the 2016 election and other related investigations,” as reported by the Associated Press. ... ...no less than six months after President Trump and his surrogates falsely accused Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton for deleting emails off of her private email server to avoid scrutiny from the FBI... http://occupydemocrats.com/2017/03/25/nbc-just-busted-trump-team-purging-smartphones-hide-proof-russian-treason/ If any one who destroys any electronic evidence, or who knowingly fails to preserve evidence, may face 20 years in prison. The federal criminal code at 18 U.S.C.A. 1873 defines the crime of Obstruction of Justice. Its broadest relevant subsection, 18 U.S. Code § 1519, states the following in the broadest but starkest terms: --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 18 U.S. Code § 1519 - Destruction, alteration, or falsification of records in Federal investigations and bankruptcy Whoever knowingly alters, destroys, mutilates, conceals, covers up, falsifies, or makes a false entry in any record, document, or tangible object with the intent to impede, obstruct, or influence the investigation or proper administration of any matter within the jurisdiction of any department or agency of the United States or any case filed under title 11, or in relation to or contemplation of any such matter or case, shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Got to thinking it be sad if someone got 20 years because they deleted something that may have not been illegal within itself. People do stupid things when in Panic Mode..

hamradio
This past election has brought to the attention of 1 phobia and created a new one. Chaetophobia.... is a rare phobia which causes an irrational, abnormal and persistent fear of hair. A Russian hiding behind every bush, tree, shrub, building, etc. Anyone simply talking to a Russian. This might be inter related. Arkoudaphobia.....The fear of bears or better медведь. mr6666
"Trump understands he’s in trouble on the Russia question and that despite what you may think at the moment, his counterattack was highly effective. As we ought to have figured out by now, the president has zero command of facts and no ability for rational argument. What he does possess, like the Shadow — a radio-serial crimefighter Trump may recall from early childhood — is “the power to cloud men’s minds.” When he sees his enemies marshaling actual evidence against him, Trump has a remarkable ability to use rhetoric, imagination and lies to turn that evidence upside down or drain it of meaning and significance..... http://www.salon.com/2017/03/25/lord-of-misrule-do-not-be-so-sure-the-demise-of-trumpcare-is-a-defeat-for-donald-trump/#.WNfsb291M0Z.twitter
mr6666
Russians Take To The Streets In Nationwide Anti-Government Protests- "...thousands of Russians took to the streets of Moscow and other cities in the biggest anti-government protests in years. In Moscow, police arrested hundreds of demonstrators, including prominent Russian opposition leader and anti-corruption activist, Alexei Navalny, who orchestrated the uprising. The crowds gathered to protest government corruption,.... we had 10,000 in St. Petersburg, the estimates here in Moscow are about 20,000,"... Bogie56
Details of the Russian fake news campaign was coming out of the Senate hearing today. Very interesting stuff. There was also specific targeting of districts in the likes of Wisconsin and Michigan. According to Warner this was beyond the know-how capabilities of the Russians so the question is what (campaign) person with that savvy was directing them?
ElCid
At this point, the only way for GOP to downplay this issue is to appoint a special prosecutor. No matter what the House and Senate committees, DOJ, etc. do, most people will assume a coverup.

ElCid
How can anyone be sure that the special prosecutor would be impartial? That is where it will take a lot of expertise and compromise on the part of Trump, Bannon, Mercer, McConnell, Ryan and rest of Republican leadership. Especially the extremists in the House and Senate. With current climate in Washington and rest of the country, no way any commission or prosecutor would be accepted by everyone as impartial. But, they have come close in the past.
