they not only exclude the deceased but knock off those who ain't croaked yet like producer shirley patterson...

 

but this kinda idiocy is what you end up with by turning 'the industry' over to millennial-catering exclusionists who have told everybody over the age of 40 to bleep off.

First off, there's already 2 or 3 threads about the Oscars. Why didn't you just post this in one of those, instead of starting yet another thread on the subject?

 

Second, if you're going to bash people for making a mistake, make sure you aren't doing the same thing. The producer's name is Jan Chapman. Her picture was mistakenly shown for the deceased costume designer Janet Patterson.

 

So I guess they aren't the only idiots, are they?
