tlcmd
I am seeking to discover the name of the 1940's/50's musical which ends with the couple in love rising into the air and dancing/walking in the air, specifically around a church steeple. Ring any bells. I will not mention the dancer since I'm not sure who it was. Thanks tlcmd
Terrence1
This sounds like "Belle of New York" with Fred Astaire and the wonderful Vera-Ellen. I think it came out around 1950.

Terrence1
Glad I was able to help. I love this movie. The two leads play off each other so well. And then there's that wonderful dancing! Two of the best dancers of all time.
