Black Moon

Recommended Posts

Saw the film Black Moon last night on FLIX. A 1975 release written and directed by Louis Malle. The tagline reads: ?An apocalyptic Alice in Wonderland!?. However it seems more like a journey through the mind of a seriously disturbed young woman (played by Cathryn Harrison).

Has anyone else seen this movie? Care to discuss it at all?

Thanks.

I saw this films years ago. At the "MINI-Cinema" in Uniondale N.Y.

Not a bad film ,Kind of weird....

Cathryn Harrison's Father is Noel Harrison; grandfather is Rex Harrison ,is cute in this role. (wonder what happened to her.)

Well, Vallo, it appears that you and I are the only ones who will admit to having seen this film. It is extremely weird; but I?d definitely watch it again. FLIX will probably bring it back sometime soon. In fact they?re running a much, much better known Louis Malle film (Au revoir, les enfants) this Tuesday at 13:00.

According to her filmography on IMDb, Cathryn Harrison has done a good deal of work in television over the years. Nothing listed since 2001, though.

Thanks.

I must watch this whenever it's on.

It draws me in every time.

I wonder what Louis Malle was on.

I can't imagine anyone seeing it and then forgetting about it.

Trying to figure out all the allusions and references can give you a migraine, though, but I find it endlessly fascinating.
