Million dollar question, is the US Army working as hard they claim (towards Russian hacking)?

If yes then why are there hearings to begin with??

Someone is sleeping on the job! (or spending too much time spying on some poor Joe watching porn)

Is It Comey Who Should Be Investigated?

"....Why taint Clinton with nothing investigation that went nowhere?

Why protect the Trump campaign by keeping knowledge of the Russia investigation from the public? Why drag the Russia investigation on from last July till now (surely the transcripts and emails either provide evidence or they do not)?

The conspiracy-minded might conclude that Comey is a Pence supporter, and has cleverly maneuvered Pence into a position where he has a shot at the presidency if Trump is forced out over the Russia scandal....

...Comey has acted in an unwise and non-neutral way and that historians will place a good deal of the blame for the Trump disaster on him. Whether he has been driven by a narrow proceduralism, or a form of unconscious sexism, or an unspoken GOP bias is at the moment impossible to know. What is clear is that the vast majority of Americans have less reason than ever to trust the politics of the FBI. And maybe we need another investigation, with subpoenas for Comey’s emails."

While everyone cries foul (as they should) because Manafort was working for the Russians, let's keep in mind that Tad Devine, Bernie Sanders' Chief Strategist, was also embroiled in work for foreign governments:

"Internationally, Devine has worked as a strategist and media consultant for the winning campaigns of Colombian President Andres Pastrana in 1998, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak in 1999, Peruvian President Alejandro Toledo in 2001, Bolivian President Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada in 2002, Irish Taoiseach Bertie Ahern in 1997, 2002 and 2007, Honduran President Mel Zelaya in 2005, and Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovich and the Party of Regions in 2006. He worked again with Yanukovich in 2009 and 2010 for his successful Presidential bid. He served as a strategist and media consultant for Ashraf Ghani's 2009 presidential campaign in Afghanistan."

White House is acting like ‘what a cover-up to a crime looks like’-

“This is done because the White House wanted it to be done,” Swalwell said. “And this is what a cover-up to a crime looks like. We are watching it play out right now.”

Swalwell added that Nunes could have viewed classified materials at secure facilities in the Capitol building and that the White House visit was unnecessary.

“If this was done the proper way, they could have brought it over, shared it with both parties of the committee,” he said.

Swalwell also raised questions as to why Nunes hasn't wanted to share his source behind surveillance claims.

“A lot of [lawmakers] have said that we don’t need an independent commission because we’re doing the work in the House committee, on the Intelligence Committee, and so that’s always been the out for not having an independent commission,” Swalwell said. “So I’ve heard frustration that they don’t have that out anymore.....

He's doing 180s every day.

Yep. He went to some area of the White House one night

to look at classified documents and then went back the

next day to tell Trump what he found in those same

documents. Huh?

"In stark contrast to the circus of an investigation in the House of Representatives that’s unraveling under the “leadership” of Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) , leaders from both parties in the Senate stood shoulder-to-shoulder today and sent a clear, bipartisan message to the President, the House, and the country: We’ll take it from here....

"This one is one of the biggest investigations the Hill has seen in my time here,” said committee Senator Burr, adding, “…this investigation’s scope will go wherever the intelligence leads it.”

"Terrorism and espionage expert Clint Watts told the Senate Intelligence Committee on Thursday that if they want to understand Russian interference in the 2016 U.S. election, then they need to “follow the trail of dead Russians.”

Sen. Ron Wyden (D-OR) asked Watts at the hearing, “How can the committee track this fuzzy line between the Russian oligarchs, Russian organized crime and the Russian government?”

Watts began by pointing out that he is not an expert on Russia, but a counterterrorism specialist, then explained that the Russian attack on the U.S. election had two components, the virtual or internet component and an actual physical real-world component.

The virtual assault, Watts said, came from a “disproportionate number of fake news outlets” in Eastern Europe,....

“The other part that I think we should be looking at is: Follow the trail of dead Russians,” Watts said....

mediamatters, huh?

Maggot David Brock's sniveling army of paid trolls against Bernie.

Sure, let's all listen to their "opinions".

darkblue, Your mention of mediamatters is irrelevant here.  This is what Warner actually said (I heard him).
