We have had no leadership with regards to North Korea for over 20 years.   ALL prior US admins have failed with regards to the MISSION (which was to prevent N.K. from getting nukes).

Now that the mission has failed (and NOT because of Trump and his team) what should happen now is that the US call off ALL sanctions and accept an nuclear N.K.   If the U.N. doesn't like that they can try to do something without the assistance of the USA.

The Korean war was a joint UN effort so dealing with NK should really be a joint effort too. Unfair that all this is lobbed on to the US, especially with Trump's wreckless speeches against NK.

Yeah, both of those guys didn't really improve Korean relations at all. Just as stupid as Trump. The only one who did anything were Clinton and Carter when they went to Pyongyang.

No but they wouldn't have to threaten to nuke anyone if the president had the guts to talk to their leader fact to face like Clinton did instead of impotently raging like a childish moron on Twitter.

While Trump's tweets are indeed childish moronic crap unfit for the leader of the USA,   note that the 'mellow' Obama approach didn't produce any results.    So it is hard for me to say if ANY approach short of calling off the mission would have resulted in concessions from N.K.

Anyhow,  as we have discussed, time to move on;  redefine the mission and try to make a deal with N.K. similar to the one made with other nations like India and Pakistan that ignored the U.N. and developed nukes.

I'm not a fan of Obama's foreign policy either. I think Clinton did it well when he went to Pyongyang. If the presidents were more willing to do that it could ease tensions. Trump promised to do that on the election campaign but you know the score for Trump keeping his promises.

that's all I'm saying. if even obama wasn't willing to crawl for short, fat, ugly and psychopathic then what would be the point of anyone wasting the time?
