Cinemaven - I like it when other people have their obsessions like I do.... as far as I'm concerned, you can babble all you want to..... :)

Be careful... there could soon be more "babbling" here than you bargained for! ;)

That all depends, now doesn't it? You try and you try and you try and yet...

I'm losing hope.

Jane Randolph, 1915-2009

Sorry, don't mean to interrupt the conversation but before I forget, I wanted to take a moment to honor the memory of Jane Randolph, who passed away earlier this month. She was great in quite a few noirs.... may she rest in peace.

You're very trying aren't you?

I'm a willing man so it deeply saddens me to see the same ol', same ol'. There's nowhere to

breathe. No space.

Thanks for these great photos, MissG. DEAD END isn't a favorite film but I watch it over and over just to see these actors.

Hi Ollie! You're welcome. I actually do like the film's overt staginess, I find the set rather

fascinating---much like Hitchcock's REAR WINDOW, it's a self-contained world. Excellent

cast.

FrankG, you are such a romantic! C'mon, tear yourself away from Joan Bennett and Margaret Lindsay for just one night and take a fresh look at *_Out of the Past_*. Jane Greer is beautiful; her character Kathy is the ultimate femme fatale, totally yet believably deceitful and self-serving. When she walks into the Mexican bar, she pulls off a Barbara Stanwyck entrance and she doesn't need a towel - the rest of us do.

And listen to this:

Kathy: ?I don?t want to die.?

Jeff: ?Neither do I, baby. But if I have to, I?m gonna die last.?

Makes my glasses fog!

You don't know FrankGrimes very well. He is a Jane Greer "OUT OF THE PAST" fan from waay back.

MissGoddess, I love the "DEAD END" photos of Bogie and Trevor. And to think...they were together again in "KEY LARGO." He looks very natty in that suit.

because they sure ain't comin' back. Hopefully, Mary and Renee won't be

asked to delete those.
