Democrats Exposed as the Racists They’ve Always Been

June 24, 2020
Maine Democrats headquarters

They say that out of every bad thing comes a good thing. Ask any mother who has been through a 20-hour labor!

You can say the same of the criminal behavior of the Marxist-inspired radicals—Antifa and Black Lives Matter—which eclipsed the legitimate outrage that followed the horrific murder of George Floyd by a white policeman, Derek Chauvin, in Minneapolis, MN.

Reform should have happened; looting happened instead

This crime called for reform of the Minneapolis Police Department, which had ignored 18 grievances against Chauvin. But that is not what happened.

Instead, the peaceful protests against this savage act were obliterated by the professionally orchestrated, bountifully financed rampage of the above-mentioned anarchists-****-terrorists through American cities and suburbs, leaving a massive swath of destruction that included dozens of black-owned businesses and dozens of white-owned businesses that employed black citizens. So much for Black Lives Matter!

What a beautiful tribute to George Floyd—God spare all of us such a memoriam!

A shameful exposé—of Democrats

However, the good that came out of this disgraceful, destructive, criminal behavior was the willingness of many black conservative commentators and writers to tell the American public what Democrats and their leftist media lackeys have been concealing from the public for decades.

  1. Since the 1960s, the welfare system rewarded single black mothers with lifetime financial support. Which resulted in every generation for the last 60 years with fatherless homes. In short, the destruction of the black family. When the mothers worked outside the home to make ends meet, their children were left to the streets. There they admired the rich pimps, drug pushers and other criminals who became their role models. A doomsday scenario for every child.

How Democrats ruined public schools

  1. Public schools run by Democrat-controlled unions and benefits-infatuated teachers and administrators allowed generations of illiterate students to “graduate” without the knowledge or skills necessary to be productive members of society. Just mention the name Eva Moskowitz to any leftist and said leftist will assault you with vile language. This expresses the deep hatred Democrats feel toward the woman who runs upward of 25 Charter Schools in New York City, schools where children from black ghettos attend, who then pass the Regents with flying colors, score high marks on the SATs, graduate from high school and go on to top-flight colleges (without the “benefit” of Affirmative Action). This is tragically unlike the children who attend public schools. They often go on to survive either through lives of crime or welfare dependency.
  2. The result: a disproportionate number of blacks—mostly men—in prison. This represents a complete waste of potentially vibrant and contributory lives.

Democrats encourage abortion – the murder of a generation

  1. And the women? Planned Parenthood locates most of its facilities in minority neighborhoods… on purpose! In fact, 25 percent of abortions performed each year are on black women. The founder of these baby-destroying factories, Margaret Sanger, as John Nolte reports, was an impassioned eugenicist who spoke before Ku Klux Klan groups. On December 10, 1939, in a letter to Dr. Clarence Gamble of the Eugenics Society—in the context of discussing the Negro Project, which she developed in concert with white birth-control reformers—Sanger wrote: “We do not want word to get out that we want to exterminate the Negro population…” The Planned Parenthood Federation of America aborted 345,672 babies during the 2018 fiscal year. That equals approximately 86,500 dead black babies. So much for Black Lives Matter!

Sanctuary cities

  1. Democrats conceived and implemented Sanctuary Cities which flout federal immigration law in protecting illegal aliens from deportation and prosecution. These laws go further in providing cradle-to-grave benefits like taxpayer-funded free food, free housing, free medical care, free schooling, and of course welfare payments. The result, of course, is that the states who subscribe to this communist philosophy are both crime-ridden and bankrupt. The cost is in the multibillions of dollars, which could and should have been spent on better schools, jobs and living conditions for black citizens, but never is and never was. So much for Black Lives Matter!

Democrats run – and ruin – over twenty-five cities

John Nolte asks what the following cities have in common:
  • Los Angeles
  • Minneapolis
  • Fayetteville
  • Atlanta
  • New York
  • Nashville
  • Seattle
  • Portland
  • Philadelphia
  • Chicago
  • Milwaukee
  • Salt Lake
  • Washington, D.C.
  • Detroit
  • Indianapolis
  • San Francisco
  • Kansas City
  • Houston
  • Charlotte
  • Cleveland
  • Pittsburgh
  • Denver
  • Dallas
  • Phoenix
  • Tampa
  • Baltimore
  • Oakland
  • Louisville
  • et al.
  1. Democrats run all these cities, many for generations.
  2. Left-wing Antifa terrorists and other Marxist groups have looted and burned them over the past few weeks.
  3. These riots are wholly owned, supported, indeed applauded by the Democrat Party.

Here is but one example:

Democrats all - Mayor and relevant leaders and representatives of Minneapolis

Government representatives for the people of Minneapolis, Minn., when George Floyd died. All Democrats.

Vote for Democrats and they give you – more of the same?!?

Make no mistake. All of the above actions had one overriding goal in mind. Which is: to accumulate votes for Democrat candidates. They obviously sought to keep minority populations dumb and dependent. The better to convince them that hope for a better future lay right around the corner.

If you go to horrible schools, you’re not going to keep up on politics. And you are going to listen to sermon-spouting “reverends”—like Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson and Jeremiah Wright, et al. Who tell you what to think and who to vote for. While they are making millions and their gullible acolytes are barely getting by. So much for Black Lives Matter!

Donald Trump to the rescue

But now that President Trump enacted the unprecedented prison-reform First Step Act, and created an economy in which black people have enjoyed the highest employment rate in American history—money in their pockets, unlimited opportunity, increased awareness of the slave mentality of the Democrats — which political party will this minority population vote for?

As I said, good comes out of bad. A black vote of 20 percent, and quite possibly 30 percent for President Trump, will teach the Democrats a lesson. Which is: even their most cherished “value”—abortion—is not enough to keep the black population loyal to their historically empty promises and innate racism.

Minneapolis City Council Members Who Voted to Disband Police Get $4,500/Day Private Security

BY RICK MORAN JUN 28, 2020 11:05 AM EST

City Council members in Minneapolis who recently voted to disband their city’s police department are getting $4,500 a day in private security after threats were received in their offices.

Council members Andrea Jenkins, Phillipe Cunningham, and Alondra Cano are outspoken proponents of efforts to defund the Minneapolis Police Department. All are now receiving protection from a private security contractor, paid for by the taxpayer.

Daily Caller:

Cunningham did respond to Fox 9’s request for comment, telling the outlet through a text message that, “I don’t feel comfortable publicly discussing the death threats against me or the level of security I currently have protecting me from those threats. The security detail is temporary, he noted.

Yes, irony’s a bit*h, ain’t it?

Jenkins said she has been asking for security since she became a council member.

“My concern is the large number of white nationalist(s) in our city and other threatening communications I’ve been receiving,” she wrote in an email to FOX 9.

White nationalists? A “large number”?

In Minneapolis? Sheesh.

Interestingly, the police don’t know what the heck the council members are talking about.

The police department does not have reports of threats against city council members, a representative for Minneapolis Police told Fox 9. Jenkins did not report threats she’s received through phone messages, emails and social media because she’s busy handling aftermath from the pandemic and Floyd’s death, she told Fox 9.

Their paranoid mistrust of the police must be so profound that they don’t report threats serious enough that they need armed guards to shepherd them around?

And Jenkins doesn’t have the time to pick up the phone and tell the cops her life is in danger? Really? Sheesh.

I don’t begrudge politicians being protected – as long as the threat is real. That’s why we have a police force – to investigate the threats and see if they’re serious. That Jenkins and the others never reported any threats is not only dumb on their part but calls into question just how real and serious any threats might be.

Do these politicians realize the heavy irony in calling to defund police while needing protection?

Other city officials across the country faced criticism for using private security while railing against their police departments. Democratic Los Angeles City Council President Nury Martinez, for instance, reportedly used police officers as security over the past two months while calling for the department to be defunded.

There is a disturbing aura of entitlement surrounding politicians of all ideological and political stripes. It’s turned the world upside down, where people we hire to serve us end up making us serve them.

It’s not the way it’s supposed to be. But as government gets larger, the arrogance of public servants becomes more pronounced. They don’t see themselves as “public servants” anymore. They see themselves as rulers and us as servants.

Not a very satisfactory state of affairs.

Fresh signs of NYC spiraling out of control

By Post Editorial Board

June 28, 2020 | 7:07pm | Updated

“Complete lawlessness,” one cop termed the incident in Harlem in the early hours Sunday — and it’s fast becoming an apt description of much of the city.

Officers responded to an electronic ShotSpotter alert just before 4 a.m., and discovered a block party still raging. Worse, the crowd attacked the police, with members screaming obscenities as they hurled bottles and other debris at the cruisers.

The NYPD showed tremendous restraint, perhaps too much — retreating vans down Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and avoiding arrests or injuries as it dispersed the mob over several hours. How many innocents were at risk in the interim? And how are police to reverse the surge in shootings when they meet this kind of reception?

Eleven New Yorkers were shot across 12 hours that night, with several of the victims refusing to cooperate in any investigation. And that doesn’t include the couple gunned down with an AR-15-style rifle Saturday afternoon on an East New York stoop.

That’s over 80 people shot in a week, with at least six fatalities.

Other signs of disorder are more mundane, like the assaults on the barricades that close off roads under Mayor Bill de Blasio’s “open streets” effort. Drivers blowing through those barriers are plainly putting innocents at risk while showing utter contempt for the law.

As are the people shooting off fireworks at all hours of the night, with cops evidently ordered not to interfere.

Indeed, “Don’t interfere” seems the slogan for every city authority these days. Police took troubled vagrant Matthew Mishefski to Mt. Sinai Hospital on Saturday . . . after he started running around naked in Washington Square Park and got into a fight with two other men.

But he’d been camped out in the fenced-off fountain for a month, amassing a living room worth of furniture. Is it really a coincidence that he was finally hauled in only after he made the front page of The Post? Where were ThriveNYC and all the other city mental health programs all those weeks?

This is a guy who answers only when addressed as “Jesus Christ Lord Saviour,” yet the system fails to protect him or the public with mandatory treatment. Indeed, he was discharged Sunday morning, returned to the park, stripped again and got hauled back to Mt. Sinai. He may be out again by the time you read this.

The city seems not only to be increasingly out of control, but to be led by “authorities” who don’t care (or dare) to restore basic order. New York has recovered from far worse — but only after choosing leadership committed to putting public safety first.

The Strategies of Dementia Politics

June 30, 2020 6:30 AM

Former vice president Joe Biden speaks during a campaign event in Lancaster, Pa., June 25, 2020. (Mark Makela/Reuters)

Stoke chaos, obstruct economic recovery, and hide Biden in the basement till Election Day.

Joe Biden is tragically suffering a mental eclipse and sliding away at a geometric rate. Understandably, his handlers have kept him out of sight. He stays off the campaign trail on the pretext of the virus and his age-related susceptibility to COVID-19 morbidity.

I say “pretext” without apology. Quarantine should not have otherwise stopped Biden over the past three months from doing daily interviews, speeches, and meetings. But each occasion, however scripted, rehearsed, and canned, would only have offered further daily proof that Biden is cognitively unable to be president or indeed to hold any office.

Often Biden cannot finish a sentence. Names are vague eddies in his mind’s river of forgetfulness. He is in a far more dire mental state than a physically failing FDR was in his 1944 campaign for a fourth term.

The earlier career of a healthy Biden illustrates that he was not especially sharp even when in control of most of his faculties. We recall the former sane/nutty Biden of Neal Kinnock plagiarism, his “put y’all in chains” demagoguery, the studied racism of Biden’s riffs about a “clean” and well-spoken Obama, and the sane/insane Corn Pop stories. All are the trademark of a once fool Joe Biden, who was at least alert when compared with his current catalepsy. If Donald Trump can be ungrammatical, Biden is agrammatical — he simply streams together half-thoughts without syntax and then abandons the sentence entirely.

If Trump repeats vocabulary, Biden increasingly searches for words, any noun, whatever its irrelevance to the point he is making. Biden seems to suffer dyscognitive seizures, in which for moments he has no idea what he is doing or saying or where he is — a tragic, nearly epileptic condition. In scary episodes, the pale, scaly, and frozen visage of Biden appears almost reptilian, like a lizard freezing and remaining stationary as it struggles to process signals of perceived danger.

Inserting memorized answers into rehearsed questions, as if the entire con was spontaneous, only reveals how his once episodic dementia has become chronic as he loses his prompt and place. It was understandable that his handlers saw opportunity in secluding Biden during Trump’s tweeting, alongside the contagion, the lockdown, the recession, and the rioting that in voters’ minds had equated fear of chaos with the culpability of the current commander in chief.

But there were always problems with placing Biden in suspended animation in his basement, even as he seemingly surged ahead of Trump in the early-summer polls.

One, seclusion, quiet, and the absence of intellectual stimuli often only enhance dementia, while travel, conversation, and new imagery and experiences tend to unclog for a bit the congested neuron pathways. The more Biden “rests up,” the more he seems to be non compos mentis in his rare staged interviews. His brain is like a flabby muscle, and restful disuse does not make it firmer.

Two, in theory there should be a shelf life to a virtual presidential candidate. True, Biden has climbed in the polls, as the public never sees or hears him — in the manner that an unpopular lame-duck Obama disappeared to the golf courses and retreats in 2016 and yielded the media spotlight to the dog and cat fighting between Trump and Clinton. Obama then discovered that the more he retreated from the public eye, the more the public liked the old idea, rather than the current reality, of him.

So too the ghost model was supposed to work for Biden.

He is a cardboard candidate, but at least he’s not on the front lines of commentary on statue toppling and the contagion, and so he can be blamed for neither.

But by avoiding the campaign trail, Biden is only postponing the inevitable. He is compressing the campaign into an ever-shorter late-summer and autumn cycle. If he really agrees to three debates (he may not agree to any at all), and if he performs as he usually now acts and speaks, then he may end up reminding the American people in the eleventh hour of the campaign that they have a choice between a controversial president and a presidential candidate who simply cannot fulfill the office of presidency. And if Biden is a no-show, Trump will probably debate an empty, Clint Eastwood–prop mute chair.

Why, then, is Biden the nominee at all — other than that he leads in the delegate count and surged after Democrat back-roomers panicked when Bloomberg imploded and Bernie surged? As a result, politicos forced or enticed all the other primary candidates to vacate and unite around someone nominally not a socialist.

Is one consolation that Biden’s dementia offers a credible defense that he has “no recollection” that he was in on Obama’s efforts to surveil an oppositional campaign and abort a presidential transition?

While all Democrats know that the cat must be belled, no one wishes to step forward to do it and remove Biden — and indeed no one knows how to steal a nomination from an enfeebled winner and hand it off to an undeserving but cogent alternative. Take out Biden in August, and who knows what sort of candidate stampede might follow in today’s insane landscape?

So what are these strategies of dementia other than putting Biden on ice while redefining the election as Trump versus the media’s version of the virus, lockdown, and economic stagnation?

Pity is one pretext. The progressive media have put Biden’s blank stares and word searching off limits. We are not supposed to remember that Trump was hounded by progressive M.D.s, to the point that he took — and aced — the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Test, an examination that no one in his right mind would suggest Biden now take, given that the results would be no surprise.

Dementia is also about the only valid reason one can legitimately say “I don’t remember.” So ask Joe Biden about those early January 2017 strategy sessions in which Obama, Biden, and their henchmen plotted the surveillance of the Trump campaign and the destruction of Michael Flynn — and he can honestly say, “What administration?” Ask Biden about his illiberal past statements, his associations with neo-Confederate senators, or his plagiarism, and without guile he can retort, “What? What plagiarism? What senators?” Burisma? Hunter Biden’s Chinese lucre? He will look dumbfounded and turn to an aide to ask, “What is Burisma and who is Hunter?”

Democrats also knew that they would lose with an Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris, or Bernie Sanders as their masthead. The primaries, even heavily loaded to the left-wing base, taught them that well enough. The hard-left agenda of winter 2020 went nowhere, and it will go less than nowhere in the fall after months of televised arson, looting, and gratuitous violence.

In contrast, even a cardboard-cutout version of Biden offers them the veneer of the “moderation.” A Bill Clinton–style Biden phantom, if elected, can allow a passageway for a leftist surrogate into the presidency, the same way that Harry Truman, a centrist, was put on the ticket in 1944 to save the country from Vice President Henry Wallace’s Communism.

Translated, that means the Democratic donor class accepts that they cannot win while siding with the mobs on the street and their appeasers and apologists — and yet the latter leftists are needed to provide the missing 5 to 7 points for victory. With a wink and nod, the vice-presidential candidate will be seen as assuming the presidency and giving to the Left what they could not achieve through a presidential election — while old Joe Biden from Scranton stares at the TV screen a bit longer to prove he’s not a raving socialist.

Also expect the Democrats to push the following strategies harder and harder, as they square the circle of a demented candidate who nonetheless could prove enormously useful — if he can just get elected.

Expect more calls to cancel the debates as corrupt, fluff, reality-TV pizzazz and utterly unnecessary. Anticipate that the virus lockdown will be prolonged nearly until Election Day and will de facto lead Democrats to call for a Zoom campaign: Biden talking to the camera with a teleprompted script behind the screen.

Election Day voting, we will be told, is merely an ossified construct. The key to our new electoral process is not Neanderthal driving into a COVID-infested polling booth, but rather voter-harvested mail-in ballots.

Expect the vote in November to be declared in advance warped, stolen, and invalid — and then declared valid and fair if Biden wins.

Expect blue states to remain economically mired in quarantines, in hopes of aborting a recovery. Democratic leaders will never really crack down on what heretofore have been blue-state rioting and looting; the chronic chaos and recession will be kept alive and geared to the November election.

Are there problems with such Biden basement strategies? Lots.

A hard-left candidate for vice president will have to do the campaign messaging as a public auxiliary of, and in line with, Joe Biden. She will privately reassure her base that it’s all a moderate con, assuming that leftist voters are sophisticated and cynical enough to be willing to be lied to now for the sake of gaining power shortly.

It will also be problematic to assure the country that Joe Biden is 110 percent fit to be president in November but then to leak to the public by February 2021 that he’s crazy and it’s past time for his radical vice president, regrettably, to move him out.

Using Biden as an empty vessel also assumes that he is at least a vessel. But what if Biden, say, on October 25, 2020, has one of his blank-outs? Or what if he announces once again, but this time at his final rare press conference: “I am going to beat Joe Biden!” What then? Do they call Christopher Steele out of retirement to do a hasty file on Joe Biden, the delusional nut, and use Yahoo or Mother Jones again to leak the dirt in order to switch the order of the Democratic ticket?

Given the current racial hysteria, how do Democratic handlers muzzle the not always latently bigoted Biden? Often dementia is a cruel pathway to the truth, freed from normal self-censorship, politeness, and social awareness. Meaning: What if Biden has more “you ain’t black” moments, or Corn Pop storytelling, or he mimics a black accent to riff about chains, “clean” blacks, and such? And in the present climate, will people be forgiving when he brags that his home state of Delaware was once a “slave state”? One or two such outbursts could shrink his share of the black vote to 80 percent, which would lead to losses in Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Florida.

In the chaos of July, Biden’s handlers have been acclaimed geniuses for anesthetizing him. But in the different season of October, he may finally be forced out from his lockdown, in the wild manner that soon-to-be looters and arsonists at last emerged from quarantine in June — pent-up, angry, incoherent, and self-destructive.

AOC: When We Say 'Defund the Police,' We Mean Defund the Police!

BY RICK MORAN JUL 01, 2020 8:23 AM EST
AP Photo/J. Scott Applewhite

Radical calls to “defund the police” have alarmed most Americans with two brain cells working. But proponents are trying to calm those fears, claiming that all they want is a greater emphasis on city budgets supporting our communities of color. We don’t really mean, like, “defund the police.” So relax, you right-wing racist conspiracy nuts. And sit down and shut up.

Then there are radical nutcases like Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez who come charging in and destroy that soothing narrative where it stands.

Washington Examiner:

The suckers who have spent the last few weeks arguing that “defund the police” does not literally mean “defund the police” should be feeling pretty annoyed right now with Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

The way the freshman congresswoman tells it, “defund” means exactly what it sounds like.

On Tuesday, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and the City Council reached a tentative deal to cut $1 billion from the New York Police Department, “though nearly half will be through shifting school safety from the police to the Department of Education,” according to Gotham Gazette senior reporter Samar Khurshid.

Relax, New Yorkers. We’re just “reorganizing” the police force. Nothing to worry about.

Enter the screeching harpy, AOC.

“Defunding police means defunding police,” she said in a statement. “It does not mean budget tricks or funny math. It does not mean moving school police officers from the NYPD budget to the Department of Education’s budget so that the exact same police remain in schools.”

It continues, “It does not mean counting overtime cuts as cuts, even as NYPD ignores every attempt by City Council to curb overtime spending and overspends on overtime anyways. It does not mean hiring more police officers while cutting more than $800M from NYC schools. If these reports are accurate, then these proposed ‘cuts’ to NYPD’s budget are a disingenuous illusion. This is not a victory. The fight to defund policing continues.”

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

What’s interesting here is that AOC’s position contradicts some very well known radicals like Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren, who have come out against “defunding the police.” Radicals do as radicals do; they squabble, they haggle, they try to tear each other down hoping to climb the rickety ladder to the top of the pyramid.

But the problem with “defund the police” is that it’s a slogan, not a policy. You have some leftists who have embraced the truly radical notion of a world free of police which would allow everyone to do what they want. No law enforcement, no law. Violence would disappear because everyone would be happy and content. We’d be living in the Nirvana envisioned by the flower children 50 years ago.

Then there are the slightly less crazed radicals who see dollar signs and a way to extort money from white elites — more for “the communities of color,” don’t you know. They don’t really care if the money comes from defunding the police department or if Washington delivers it on a silver platter, or if cities jack up property taxes to unbearable levels.

In truth, some of the proposals for police reform make sense. New York City’s proposal to transfer school safety to the education department is reasonable And there are certainly some police calls that could be handled by social worker-types and not armed officers.

But the idea of sending unarmed counselors to handle domestic disputes is crazy, as is sending mental health professionals to deal with mentally ill homeless people who could become violent at any moment. Better training to handle these situations could certainly be advantageous, but removing the police from these volatile scenarios is not wisdom, it’s wishful thinking.

Ocasio-Cortez and those who believe as she does would end up getting people killed unnecessarily if they get their way. Democrats should really find a way to tone her down — at least until after the election, when it might not matter anyway.

To Understand BLM

By Michael S. Rozeff

June 30, 2020

“The Black Lives Matter movement (BLM) casts itself as a spontaneous uprising born of inner city frustration, but is, in fact, the latest and most dangerous face of a web of well-funded communist/socialist organizations that have been agitating against America for decades.”

However, if you do not believe that conclusion and the evidence leading to it, then to understand the true nature of BLM, ask questions like the following and reach your own conclusion.

Why is the BLM aim to defund police, and not to defund the War on Drugs? The latter is what fills the prisons with black lives.

Why is BLM willing to defund police without having a viable alternative system?

Why does BLM aim to tear down the policing of black communities, including that which is directed at violent crimes?

Why does BLM want to release violent criminals from prisons?

Why is BLM so dead set against people who have built up wealth?

Why does BLM want reparations from whites, whoever they may be, when they cannot possibly identify past perpetrators and link them to victims in the present?

Why does BLM blame everything relating to black people on racism, when this case cannot be rationally sustained?

Why does BLM disregard rational argument and replace it with rhetoric, slogans and demands?

Why is it BLM’s aim to disrupt ordinary families, and not to promote families with fathers?

Why does BLM focus on black women and largely ignore black men?

Why is BLM’s leadership Marxist and trained to be Marxist?

Why does BLM paint today’s society as systemically racist when it is not?

Why does BLM promote the fiction that faulty theories of race that used to be prevalent generations ago are at work discriminating against black people today?

Why does BLM attack capitalism, free enterprise and free markets?

Why does BLM violently attack speech that opposes their views?

Michael-S.-Rozeff2.pngWhy doesn’t BLM dissociate itself from antifa and its violence?

Why doesn’t BLM condemn rioting and looting, especially that which destroys black businesses and communities?

Why is BLM willing to burn down the system?

Why is BLM willing to attack images of Jesus and religious places of worship?

Why is BLM not transparent financially? Why do they conceal their financial statements?

Why does a BLM leader speak of forming a military arm?

The Morning Briefing: Joe Biden's VP Pick Is Going to Be a Trainwreck, and President If He Wins

AP Photo/Susan Walsh
The Real Biden Presidency
I think we are all aware that if Joe Biden becomes the greatest beneficiary of a plague ever and wins the presidential election, he probably won’t actually be president much past his inauguration.

If he makes it that far.

By now you are all aware that I think the various B.S. coronavirus reactions may very well gift-wrap and hand this election to the drooling idiot in the basement on Election Day and keep him hidden during the transition. Once he’s inaugurated he will suddenly have a health episode that will require him to leave office. He’s obviously in such a state of mental decline that even the Democrats won’t want him to stick around if he wins.

So this election — especially for people who are realistic and think Biden just might win — is really about who he chooses to be his vice president. Or, more precisely, who his handlers choose to be vice president.

The Democrats’ penchant for prioritizing diversity over all else may just be what wins re-election for President Trump. We still need to ponder worst-case scenarios, however.

Biden painted himself into a corner during the truncated Democratic primaries when he vowed to choose a woman as his running mate. He didn’t demand that the hypothetical running mate be qualified or anything, just that she check off the “female” box on the woke scorecard. As the “largely peaceful” riots have gone on, the pressure has mounted for Biden to choose an African American woman as his running mate.

If there is one skill Joe Biden has it’s diversity pandering, so it’s likely that he will choose an African American woman. That narrows down the list of potential picks quite a bit.

The names that have been floated thus far have been less than inspiring when one ponders that she will soon be the president of the United States should Biden win.

The mainstream media seems to crown a new African American female winner in the Biden veepstakes every week. Most recently, the MSM has been in love with the mayor of Atlanta, Keisha Lance Bottoms. My colleague Stacey Lennox brought up a very valid point when she asked: “If Keisha Lance Bottoms Can’t Run Atlanta, Why Does Joe Biden Think She Can Run the Country?

The idea of being able to run the United States of America with no experience is kind of ridiculous. What on anyone’s résumé prepares them to be the leader of the free world? Given that, wouldn’t it be wise to keep the potential candidate pool wide open?

Not in Biden World.

Some of the other names being tossed about are truly disturbing when you consider that they will probably be president by the end of July 2020.

There are a lot of people on my side of the aisle who think that Biden will pick Sen. Kamala Harris of California. I salivate at the thought that he might.

Harris is a thoroughly off-putting politician. She rose to the upper echelon of California politics the same way all Democrats do in the Golden State: by knowing a few people with money. She was the first of the top-tier Democratic candidates who dropped out of the primary race. Like Hillary Clinton, Harris doesn’t do well with any kind of scrutiny.

Harris gets mentioned most often despite the fact that Biden doesn’t need her to win California. In modern presidential politics, the V.P. pick is usually chosen to deliver a state the POTUS candidate really needs delivered. Kamala Harris can only deliver him negative vibe grief. For Republicans, Harris is the dream pick. She is so unlikable that widespread disdain for her would almost certainly lead to a Biden defeat.

Another oft-mentioned potential Biden running mate is the fake governor of Georgia, Stacey Abrams. Team Biden just might buy into the Democratic party’s relentless effort to legitimize Abrams, despite the fact that she won’t help him win Georgia. She is, however, a media darling, and the Democratic hierarchy places a high value on that.

Should Team Biden decide to go with a white female, the options are even worse. Amy Klobuchar has taken herself out of the running but Elizabeth Warren has been popping up all over media this past week. Warren is so obnoxious that she makes Kamala Harris look like Mary Poppins.

It’s not that I think the “replace Biden” scenario would be better if he were looking at men too. All Democrats are awful.

No lives matter to NYC’s lawless leftists: Devine

‘NYPD! Suck my d–k!” protesters chanted outside City Hall Tuesday night as the City Council worked overtime to slash the police budget in the middle of a crime wave.

New York’s Finest were stoic behind their masks as they took disgusting abuse from hundreds of champagne revolutionaries.

Did their mothers not teach their anti-cop offspring manners?

Clearly not. The Black Lives Matter protesters also have dispensed with any notion of egalitarianism, viewing themselves to be superior in intellect, education and morals to the officers they abuse.

“Half of you don’t have a college education to be out here making demands about the people when you can’t even read a f–king history book,” sneered one topless man captured on video in a green tutu, striding up and down before a line of expressionless cops.

He singled out a black cop for a racist rant.

“Traitor! Traitor to your f–king people! You’re like the f–king black Judas.”

And so it went in this charming fashion all night until officers arrested a few people early Wednesday morning, tussled with a few more and were ordered to retreat.

The mob toasted their victory, reportedly with champagne, and continued their occupation of City Hall Park, which they designated a “No Pig Zone” and “City Hall Autonomous Zone” or CHAZ (Mark 2).

This is the thanks the NYPD gets for keeping New Yorkers safe for a generation, through terrorist attacks, natural disasters and a pandemic.

Relentless abuse and more than $1 billion slashed from the budget as punishment for the sins of a bad cop in Minneapolis.

The protesters may think they’re hurting the men and women in blue, but if the demonized officers are driven out of the NYPD, they will find ample work as private security guards for rich people or in middle-class neighborhoods where residents pool their money for protection in an increasingly scary city.

Those who suffer most when 911 doesn’t answer and predators are empowered are the working poor and unprotected in unfashionable neighborhoods, the black and Latino residents of Bronx housing projects, which already are being described by NYCHA workers as the “OK Corral.”

All this misery is delivered in the name of Black Lives Matter.

The city homicide rate is at a five-year high and there were twice as many shootings this June as in the same month last year. Most victims are black, but no one is marching for them.

We all knew the consequences of bail reform and emptying out prisons. Yet still the Democrats who rule New York pressed ahead, with their crusade to dismantle law and order.

We have a “criminal-justice system that just is not working,” NYPD Commissioner Dermot Shea told PIX11 Tuesday, “and I’m calling on Albany to fix it. Fix it now. People are dying on the streets of New York City.”

Too bad. Instead, one-sixth of his budget was blown away. No more Anti-Crime Unit to get the guns off the streets, and no new intake of 1,200 recruits. Overtime slashed in half will accelerate the retirement of officers anxious to preserve their pensions at current pay scales.

You don’t need to be Nostradamus to see the gathering storm.

In The Bronx, it has already hit. Candle memorials to slain kids in the corridors of NYCHA buildings are popping up with sickening regularity.

Sunday night, it was 17-year-old Brandon Hendricks, a good kid from a “family that prides itself on doing right by the community,” his uncle told CBS New York.

Instead of heading off to college on a basketball scholarship, he was killed in a random shooting.

“As much as we talk about black power and unity,” his grieving mother, Eve Hendricks, told The Post, “it’s like we’re killing each other and there is no one to step forward and say . . . it just has to end one way or another.”

Tuesday night, an 11-year-old in Brooklyn was shot in the leg in a drive-by shooting, and a 21-year-old man was shot dead in Queens.

No one is marching for them.

A 16-year-old was slaughtered in Seattle’s no-cop “Capitol Hill Occupied Protest” zone on Monday, when his stolen SUV was sprayed with bullets by CHOP’s self-appointed security guards. His 14-year-old friend was hospitalized. Livestreamed video of the aftermath showed a war zone, with blood and gore sprayed over the inside of the car and multiple bullet holes in the windshield.

Two black kids, gunned down by militia in a BLM protest against police brutality.

No one is marching for them.

Another black teen, Lorenzo Anderson, 19, was murdered in CHOP almost two weeks ago.

“This doesn’t look like a protest to me no more,” his father, Horace Lorenzo Anderson, told KIRO7. “I don’t know what this is. It’s turned into something else.”

But it was always something else.

The Marxist, anti-cop, anti-family Black Lives Matter movement is not designed to make black lives better, clearly.

It treats black lives as expendable pawns in a revolutionary game.

Mayor de Blasio, responsible for the emasculation of the NYPD and the spiraling crime rate, now plans to paint giant BLACK LIVES MATTER lettering on the Fifth Avenue pavement outside Trump Tower.

It will stand as a macabre testament to his pointless reign of terror.

Apologetic ecologist’s hot news

Eco-heretic Michael Shellenberger is sorry for pushing the climate scare of the past 30 years.

His defection has sent shock-waves through the global-warming movement, coming in the wake of leftist Michael Moore’s documentary blowing the whistle on the fraudulent renewable-energy industry.

Shellenberger’s climate credentials are sound. Time magazine’s 2008 Hero of the Environment, he was “invited by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change . . . to serve as Expert Reviewer of its next Assessment Report.”

Now in a new book, “Apocalypse Never: Why Environmental Alarmism Hurts Us,” he wants to “apologize for how badly we environmentalists have misled the public . . .

“Climate change is happening. It’s just not the end of the world.”

The penitence comes not a moment too soon, as teen climate firebrand Greta Thunberg is advocating “necessary force” against climate skeptics, including lining them up “against the wall.”

May cooler heads prevail.

Malaprop Joe feeling his way

Joe Biden was given a gentle reception by the media in his first press conference in three months this week.

He was charming and vaguely coherent, albeit with the assistance of a teleprompter and notes.

But, considering he has been criticized for unwanted fondling of people in public settings, he should have chosen his words more carefully when describing how COVID-19 has changed his campaign strategy.

“You know me. I’d much rather be out there with people because that’s where I get the greatest feel.”

Luckily for all involved, social distancing will limit the extent of that feel.

A Black Running Mate Won't Save Biden
David Catron, American Spectator July 3, 2020

Public opinion polls appear to portend a Biden victory in November, but the former Vice President will almost certainly succumb to the same affliction that brought about Hillary Clinton’s electoral demise — anemic enthusiasm among minorities. No Democrat can win without the robust backing of this bloc of voters, and Biden’s dubious record on racially sensitive issues combined with more recent blunders, has rendered this support noticeably tepid. He also lacks the support of influential black leaders like civil rights lawyer Leo Terrell, who took to Twitter on Tuesday to write: “If the presidential election was held today, I would vote for #DonaldTrump.”

Moreover, the polls consistently show Biden’s support among black voters hovering well below Hillary Clinton’s anemic 2016 figures. The latest Quinnipiac poll, for example, indicates that only 82 percent of African-Americans support Biden — 6 points below the 88 percent Clinton garnered during her failed campaign. Nor has Biden’s clumsy pandering moved the needle among these voters. In addition to his prior pledge to consider women of color in his search for a running mate, he has now promised to release a list of black women from which he will choose Supreme Court nominees.  The target demographic is underwhelmed by these gestures, as the Washington Examiner recently reported:

Despite calls for Joe Biden to pick a woman of color as his running mate, most of the American public doesn’t agree or are unsure, and only 51% of black people said the Democrat should select an African American, according to a new 2020 survey.… Even among partisans, only 50% of “liberals” said yes to picking a black vice presidential nominee.

According to a recent Democracy Fund + UCLA Nationscape study, Joe Biden’s hopelessly transparent pandering is backfiring among African-Americans between 18 and 44 years old. Carrie Sheffield writes in Just the News, “UCLA data … show younger black Americans have been holding more favorable views of President Trump than their parents and grandparents.” In addition to this somewhat surprising revelation, the nationwide study — which involved more than 500,000 interviews conducted in nearly every county and congressional district in the nation—confirms that our erstwhile Vice President is in a “weaker position with younger black voters than Hillary Clinton was in 2016.”

Biden’s relative weakness among young black voters compared to the last two Democratic presidential candidates is at least partially related to his general lack of visibility. It’s difficult to win any political campaign if you refuse to leave your basement. Candace Owens, who has been an outspoken advocate of forcing Democrats to earn black votes, bluntly declares: “Never in the history of American politics has there ever been a presidential candidate as spineless as @JoeBiden. His strategy is to hide until November and blame coronavirus.” It is going to be pretty difficult to convince anyone that he’s working hard for their votes without emerging from his bunker. As Victor Davis Hanson puts it:

Biden is only postponing the inevitable. He is compressing the campaign into an ever-shorter late-summer and autumn cycle. If he really agrees to three debates … he may end up reminding the American people in the eleventh hour of the campaign that they have a choice between a controversial president and a presidential candidate who simply cannot fulfill the office of the presidency.

The lack of visibility is certainly hurting Biden with Hispanics. In 2016, Clinton won 66 percent of the Hispanic vote and Trump won 29 percent. Recent polls show Biden far less competitive. The most recent Marist Poll, for example, asks registered voters whom they would support if November’s election for president were held today. Among Hispanics, Biden garnered only 59 percent while Trump won 39 percent. Biden can’t beat Trump with Hispanic support in the 50s and African-American support in the low 80s. Too many swing states ride on their votes. Is it really possible for any running mate to save him? Many Democrats fantasize about New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s chances:

According to a Latino Decisions poll, 72 percent of respondents said they would be more likely to turn out in November if Biden chooses a Latina as his running mate, and 67 percent said this would inspire them to support Biden. New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham is said to be in final contention for the vice presidential slot and arguably would make a substantive impact on the Hispanic vote come November.

Hispanic voters will be the largest ethnic minority in the electorate in 2020. They, combined with black Americans, may very well decide who will live in the White House in 2021. But it would be a major mistake for Biden to assume that these voter blocs agree with one another concerning Gov. Lujan Grisham’s open borders position or her reversion to ineffective COVID-19 edicts involving mask mandates and the refusal to reopen public schools. Black voters have jobs, pay taxes, and are not particularly fond of gubernatorial decrees that prevent their children from attending school. And they may see the choice of Gov. Lujan Grisham as a signal that their votes have again been taken for granted.

A similar dilemma faces Biden if he attempts to bolster his poll numbers among black voters by choosing someone like former National Security Advisor Susan Rice. Hispanic voters will see this as a return to the bad old days of the Obama administration. As AP phrases it, “For many Latinos, Biden’s embrace of the Obama years is a frightening reminder of when the former president ejected about 3 million people living in the U.S. illegally.” The obvious answer to all of this is for Biden to abandon his race-based VP search, but he is justifiably afraid to run on his own record. In the end, however, it doesn’t really matter who Biden chooses as a running mate. Like Clinton, he will be defeated by Trump.
