It's my contention that these old radio and TV jingles are a part of Americana and should be

sung, every once in a while -lest we forget.

MMMMMM -GOOD

MMMMMM-GOOD

THATS WHAT CAMPBELL SOUPS ARE MMM-GOOD.

You can take Salem out of the country But....

Back in the early 90s Taco Bell had a commercial that was spoofing different songs. They took lines from the songs and made them about their different menu items. I only remember one but it has stuck with me all these years. It's sung to the tune of 'Dance With Me'

Sour cream, I want to top your taco, sour cream!

Man I sing that to myself any time I see anything related to sour cream or tacos - ha!

Once upon a time there was an engineer

Choo Choo Charlie was his name we hear

He had an engine and he sure had fun

He used Good 'n Plenty candy to make his train run

Charlie says: Love my Good 'n Plenty

Charlie says: Really rings the bell

Charlie says: Love my Good 'n Plenty. Don't know any other candy that I love so well.

"Just can't seem to forget you, that Windsong stays on my mind.."

Levis commercial to the tune of "Mule Skinner Blues",

"Creee - eee --- eee- eepy crawlers.."

Choo, choo Charlie was an engineer... (I see someone's mentioned this one already)

You'll get a quick tan with QT!

Rice-a-roni, the San Francisco treat.

Hamm's, the beer refreshing.

It's so fast that you can't drink it slow if it's Quik...

I see someone else has already mentioned "I'd like to buy the world a coke"

For those of us who grew up in the 60's and 70's there's just too many to list!

These were just a few off the top of my head.
