What Star would you like to see a month devoted to?

Marion Davies. She is one of the forgotten, overlooked, or just plain misunderstood actresses of the silent and sound era. And I would love dearly to see a whole month devoted to her.

Or Irene Dunne, one of my favorite actresses and one that is, sadly, not really well known today (at least not to the general public).

Though he's now considered a "supporting" star, DEAN STOCKWELL has always deserved more attention than he gets. His three major careers have carried him through prominence in films since he was six years old:

Child star-- Boy With Green Hair, Happy Years, Kim, Anchors Aweigh, Gentlemen's Agreement.

Young Leading Man-- Sons and Lovers, Long Day's Journey into Night.

Mature Character Actor-- Married to the Mob (Oscar-nomination, at last), Air Force One, Manchurian Candidate (remake), tv's Quantum Leap, and probably whatever film is coming out next week.

What a month-long salute could be put together by TCM for this long-lived star! Starting with the first film I ever saw-- "The Boy With Green Hair."

WALTER PIDGEON!!! I know they had Canadian Actors as a star of the month a little while ago, but he by far deserves his own month. The man is so talented, and he is very tender in his acting style. Love him as Mr. Gruffydd in How Green Was My Valley and Clemson Miniver in Mrs. Miniver and The Miniver Story. Though he doesn't seem like one of the more popular actors, everything he ever did is gold as far as i'm concerned...

Fred Astaire definitely should have a month devoted to his movies.

James Cagney

Rosalind Russell

Gregory Peck

Cary Grant

Clark Gable

Robert Montgomery was on my list too, but he's star of the month in Janurary. Can't wait for the new year!
