FrankGrimes
What has happened to you, Kylefornia?! What did Miss G do to you? First you select a Gary Cooper flick for your Fan Programmer film and now you post one trashy Gone With the Wind poster after another and another and another. What's next, John Ford posters? A hangin' seems awfully comforting to me right about now. I wonder if Minya will allow me to stowaway to France with her. I'm ready to beg. MarianStarrett
That last one is a hoot! I didn't realize *Seven Brides for Seven Brothers* was "MGM's Love-Making Musical" - and in "blushing color", even.
hlywdkjk
*"You didn't by any chance get to plug your thread on the air, like mongo did?* No. I didn't know the Message Boards were going to be used as an introductory reference that day. And if I did, I wouldn't have spoken of my thread. I would like to have mentioned the record-shattering "Any Gary Cooper Fans?" thread and the lovely folks that have kept that going for over three years. (600 pages and nearly 9000 replies!) Sorry gals (and guys.) Kyle In Hollywood
MarianStarrett
Well, you still got to talk about Gary Cooper, I take it, sitting across from Robert Osborne and that alone would be a dream come true for so many fans!

Minya
KYLE!!! I'm speechless! And I can guarantee that it doesn't happen often. I'm going to print out all off these images, complete with your commentary, and put it together into a kind of packet. I will then present it at the hotel so they understand exactly what type of experience I am expecting from the City of Lights. It's Paris, so I'm sure they'll understand immediately. Thank you so much! I'm thrilled to have my own selection of posters. The top one makes me grin because the pin up looks a little like Doris Day-could she have had a side career that no one knew about until now?
