patful
*The Voice in the Storm* sounds much more romantic than *Wuthering Heights* . Lovely image of the wonderful Ms. Oberon. And Mr. Olivier's OK too. Thanks, Kyle.

lzcutter
Crikey, Chief! If I didn't know the story of *Grapes* based on that poster and the expressions on the faces, I would think they were all spending a horrifying night in a haunted farm house. hlywdkjk
Just a post to let everyone know that the full "Summer Under The Stars" microsite is now online. And the focus on film posters continues with a full selection of 31 "new" posters for some of the best classic films being featured this month. http://www.tcm.com/2009/summer/index.jsp While I found all the "teaser" posters to be sublime, I can't say the same for ALL of the "release" posters - though there are some real gems in this group too. In particular, I like the images for *The Servant*, *They Drive By Night* and *The Letter* with Bette Davis in full "Dirty Harry" mode! As with the "teaser" images before, all the images are downloadable in an 11" x 17" pdf format for printing. And if you like some of these images, be sure to register for this month's sweepstakes which is awarding six of these posters to one lucky viewer. You can register here - http://www.tcm.com/2009/summer/sweepstakes.jsp Good Luck! Kyle In Hollywood

Nah, just experiencing the horrors of the Great Depression. I like the new posters for the SUTS campaign, although on a bad day I might perhaps feel they're a bit too slick for comfort. The only ones I've mixed feelings about are those for The Letter (looks too much like a poster for a Jason Statham movie) and the one for An Affair to Remember (a classic film shouldn't pay homage to its remake, imho). During the month, the featured (large) image will be a new posting to this thread while any thumbnails included will be for images that were previously posted to this thread over the past 20+ months. And some stars won't have any accompanying images from the "archive" for their day. (Sorry Mr. Coburn, Mr. Skelton & Ms. Bloom.)
